As Semifredo struggled, puff of cold air came out of him like he was trying to cause the next BIG CHILL. "Stop-!" Mint hissed before a young woman ran up to him, grabbing him by the shoulder. His grimace and soon to be second or third apology breaks slightly at the name. It takes everything in him not to reply with her name. He's so sorry, but he can't break down again. "What are you talking about?!" he's agitated, thanks to the unruly Glaceon who he finally lets drop on the ground.

“What can I do to un-Grinch you?” he continued with a bit of a frown on his face.

It was at this point he realized, that for as much as they shared the same living space now and had a lot of similarities, there were also bits and pieces that set them apart from each other as well.

It was kind of crazy, now that he thought about it.

“One moment, lemme go get Moroz. I’ll be right back.”

He then left his boyfriend alone for a while, passing by the Sealeo and Walrein that were causing mass mayhem among the kids and letting them ride the pinnipeds through the snow, him looking through the crowd of Pokémon as he did so.

“Moroz? Moroz?! Oy, where’d you get off to?!” he shouted, so distracted he didn’t realize he’d plowed into someone’s snowboy by complete accident (luciano fisk’s), knocking the bottom clean off before he spotted a dart of red-and-white through the snow.

“Oh, shit, I’m sorry!” he exclaimed as he saw the snowboy that was now missing a top… whoops! “Sorry! Wait, I’ll be right back!”

And off he bolted, trudging through the snow to retrieve his wayward Delibird.

Bit by bit, the snow was brought together into a ball. And once it was sturdy enough, Makoto would begin to roll it - with Kama at their side, helping to push it along - so that it could grow in size. More and more snow would be added onto it - and before long, the trio had a strong and sturdy bottom for the snowboy. "You did great," Makoto praised Kama - reaching down to pat the Sneasel on the head. "Let's start on the next portion, then."

This time, Kuro seemed to feel confident enough to lend a paw - bringing its front half up out of the shadow it dwelled in, just as long as it wasn't in direct line of sight to too many people. It would begin to nose and paw at the snow to try and form a ball - and Kama wasted no time in joining in, helping the little Zorua in the endeavor.

As the duo worked though, Makoto couldn't help but glance out to the other people in the area, ever so briefly. It seemed that some of them were partaking in different drinks or snacks - hot cocoa, eggnog, ... Icecream? Yes, it appeared somone was having some icecream - which, while Makoto wasn't sure if it was exactly the sort of treat for winter, they supposed it was one way to keep it from becoming a melty mess.

The actions of one Andrea Vaneau had damaged the beautiful head of the snowboy just as Carrie finished working on it, and needless to say, the Froslass was not pleased. When the ice pokémon turns towards the stranger, Fae watches her from the snow, her sunlit gaze falling upon the indentation on the snowboy that had been built by her pokémon.

"Carrie." The actress sits up with a sigh, and for the sake of preventing disaster, takes off her scarf and wraps it around the Froslass, Thick black wool is marked by snowflakes here and there, making for a dark yet gorgeous take on holiday-wear.

there was time for play and pleasure. perhaps this event would show itself to be both a time to play and enjoy oneself as opposed to just being out in the cold, shivering to death for no real reason. although the idea of a snow boy was rather odd, lorelei didn't question it much. all of her fire-type dogs needed a time out to enjoy melting the snow under their paws so she partook in the festivities while they pranced about. it was a rare moment where she didn't have @romanl out and about, though she figured he would end up appearing anyway. this wasn't an assumption of adoration or him needing her, but she simply assumed he would be too paranoid to let lorelei out of his sight for too long - thinking she was ready to cause another large ordeal for him if he wasn't careful. regardless, lorelei put on the little santa hats on her houndooms and attached a small bell collar to her houndour and got to work.[break]

"colder than a nun's bed on a sunday!" aisle 39 exclaimed, rolling around on the winter floor as if it wasn't the reason why she felt cold. the snow clung to her back and sides as she sat up, a smile brimming on her face. her pokemon played along with her, her dragonite aptly named 'barney' being buried up to the neck in snow like it was a beach. aimee quickly went over to try and partake, also going about putting together what would hopefully be the base of a 'perfect snow boy.'[break]

Going about as smoothly as the first portion did, Makoto would help Kama and Kuro in rolling the second snowball to a sufficient size for their snowboy. This didn't take quite as long as the first - namely because it would need to be at least a little smaller than the bottom piece. However, before long, they'd have a middle that they'd be able to - with Makoto's aid - heft atop the bottom piece.

"Good job," Makoto praised - kneeling down to pat Kama and Kuro both with either hand. "Now we just need one more piece, and then perhaps some decorations." Though, they couldn't help but wonder - what, exactly, could they do to make their snowboy stand out? It certainly looked as though many of the others present here were trying to do their best to make their own snowboys, under the watchful eyes of the darmanitan judges... Huhmmm...

Razz just watched with some slight humor as the ball of snow just melted in the Charcadet's hands. Preventing the fire type from even shaping the piece he wanted while Salem grabbed decorations. He gave his trainer a tear eye look with his blue eyes and Razz felt like he had to play a distraction of sorts. "Oh come on it just takes some time and practice," he tries to reassure looking to Salem for a bit of help, but all the cat does is roll his hand as if to encourage him to continue as the cat knows this type of thing isn't the Ranger's forte. "Uhh yeah just look at luka chêne's over there," he points toward the pink hair trainer in which he recalls was friends with Eris Halla and Remiel Calcifet. He hasn't had much interaction with her outside the two of them. "Bet it took her awhile to be good enough to make the beard," he compliments hers as a way to encourage the little fire type to try again. This time doing his best to keep his temperature under control.

It seemed that Yurei's outfit had drawn some attention, from some of the children running around the area. As Makoto glanced over to the stantler in question to check on her - which, she was simply grazing, without a care in the world - they could see as a couple of the kids were poking at the bells on her vest, expressions filled with curiousity. It almost made Makoto wish that they had brought something that could work as a sleigh - surely, people would get a kick out of getting to ride on a one-stantler open sleigh, no?

Nonetheless, Makoto would approach - pulling out a few treats from their bag, offering them to the children. "Here - hold one of these out on a flat palm for Yurei, and she'll eat the treat right out of your hand." They spoke, adding "If you ask nicely, I'm sure she'd let you ride on her back for a little bit, too."

Safe to say, the children were quite enthused at the notions - and it did not take long for the small handful to start lining up to take turns. Perhaps the snowboy could wait a minute, in the care of Kama and Kuro, whilst Makoto led Yurei around by her bridle for the kids?

Snow. Snow, everywhere. Although there already was snow everywhere technically, there was now snow everywhere - including covering Ettie and co. As the giant snowball that they made had only finally come to a stop when it slammed into a tree, exploding into a mess of white flakes that covered those in the immediate vicinity. Namely, the pack - who had been chasing after it in an attempt to stop it.

Safe to say, not only did the pack have to start from scratch, but there was also the trouble of anyone who might've been affected by the snowball's rampage - including nagi miwa and his snowboy. As Ettie shook herself off, she'd backtrack back to the young man, frowning faintly. "Is okay?" She questioned, looking him over briefly - before looking to his snowboy. "Ettie help? Help fix?"

She'd glance over to Princess - who seemed to be one of the few pups that didn't get covered in snow in the process of the shenanigans, by pure virtue of having been so far behind. "Princess help! Ice Fang?" Ettie would chirp, gesturing over the snubbull - who, in response, would grumble a little as she stepped forward.

With the ice-type move used to its fullest, the duo would not only attempt to fix any damage done to Nagi's snowboy - but also start back up on properly making their own. Perhaps without causing a practical avalanche, this time...

"Mmmm...it still needs something else," Luka says with a frown. Though her dapper snowman does look rather impressive with his snowy beard, there's still something missing![break][break]

"Hmmm...what do you think, Vanilla?" she asks, but her Vulpix doesn't have an answer. Instead, the little fox just sneezes a few snowflakes and trots off to go play with her other partners.[break][break]

Without any other ideas, Luka plops the hat off her head and onto her snowboy's. It had been a boxing day gift from a coworker, but a little snow won't hurt it. Maybe that's the perfect final touch?[break][break]

As she puzzles over what else to add, she can feel eyes burning into the back of her head (in Ceruledge's case, quite literally!). But the attention certainly isn't ill received.[break][break]

"Oh my gosh, hey!" she calls over to Raziel Beckett with a cheerful wave. "Did you just get here? Your snowboy looks amazing already!"

"There see keep practicing on keeping that temperature under control and you'll get better at this by New Years," Razz tries to compliment though Tango seems to give him a sour look at the implication of how long that would take. Though Razz seems confused by the look before Salem has to come in and pat the small fire type assuring him that their trainer was merely an idiot. And while Razz will never fully understand pokemon speech he does recognize when Salem disses him. [break][break]

As the sudden shouting he does slightly jump as he turns around to now see Luka up close. Did she sense him looking at her a moment ago? "Uhh y-yeah... just got here, so we're a little behind others," he mentions as he shows off their little piles of incomplete snow. Though at the compliment Tango seems to get excited and the flame on his head grows, emmiting heat and melting the snow around them. It forces Razz to call out his Vulpix and have her use ICY WIND to help with the snow Tango was melting.
