It was certainly one of the sweetest-smelling Pokemon hordes Hideo had found himself in, the countless Daschbuns and Fidoughs almost overpowering the cinnamon roll he was carrying in his hand.

When one of the smaller Fidoughs came his way, eagerly yipping in front of him, he could only assume it wanted a bit of his roll. He tore a small chunk off, dropping it. The Fidough was quick to devour the chunk, earning a small giggle from the boy.

"This doesn't count as cannibalism, does it?" he asked the Xatu accompanying him. He didn't receive an answer, as usual, though there was a shrug from the large bird (that he couldn't see).

For some reason, Kee was really wanting to go home and get some fresh baked bread from a particular bakery in town. Or pastries. Whatever they had in stock. The few times he was in the mood for bagels or muffins, nothing really tasted as good as the one in his hometown. It kind of made him sad. That is, until he stumbled upon a swarm of doughy looking Pokemon?! The blonde took out a pokedex and tried to see what they were. Fidough and Dachsbun. They were more native to Paldea. And whoever named them were genius. Those were fantastic names. Taking out his Vikavolt, Kee was determined to try to catch one himself! So off to catch a doughy doge he went!

Keeping an ambling pace behind Tempest Quinn, more to keep the dogs from scuffling than anything else, he observes his husband's excited reaction before he connects it to anything around them. Of course Temp immediately tries to befriend it, but it seems like the presence of their own dogs is making this one a little antsy.[break][break]

Pokemon certainly were strange creatures. And, while Colton admittedly had more of an appreciation for ones that resembled machines, he couldn't deny the research potential in a living loaf of BREAD shaped like a dog. Admittedly, they were rather cute animals that smelled quite nice, which he couldn't very well deny aided in actually dragging him out of his house to capture one of the many swarming Daschbun.

Colton observed the playful pastries for a short while, his gaze going between the Fidoughs, Daschbuns, and Arti that idly floated next to him. "I wonder...Fidough appears to just be an unbaked Dashbun...Perhaps combined with a Rotom that has merged with the oven contraption it's so fond of, could that aid in their evolution..." he said, scratching his chin thoughtfully, only to receive a blast of water to the back of his head that knocked his glasses off.

"You've made your point."

she's already imagining the food in her pantry at home. and with a soft sigh, she knows it's better to simply stop at a bakery on the way home. she's craving a mini bundt cake or twelve.

for now, she simply sits and observes the dogs a bit further. when one strays too far from the pack, she tosses a pokeball to keep it from getting too far.

Vanilla would run up to the herd of Dachsbuns and find herself giddy of their appearance! She couldn't help but be reminded about a bagel the way their ears, or well...were they ears? It didn't matter. She's approach the herd carefully, inspecting the group of canine pokemon with great intrigue!

The smell of warm, fresh baked bread wafted through the air as Hazel took a stroll alongside his espeon. In an effort to strengthen his constitution, and gain some fresh air, he’d taken to walking a bit more to mixed results. Today, though, his nose led him despite the fatigue that clung to him after a long day of working. Powdered donuts and sugared beignets were treats that immediately came to mind the closer he drew. And to no surprise! The little pack of Dachsbun and fidough scampered about, earning a puppy-like expression from Hazel likely akin to their own little puppy faces.[break][break]

A sucker for anything remotely cute, he wasted no time tossing a pokeball into the mix—hoping to strike gold.[break][break]
