"Eyyyy, c'mon!" Don Dartholomew the Toxicroak shouted to the ensemble of Poison-types that had gathered here for their mission. Dartholomew was, legally, not a Don. Legally, however, this was one-hundred percent illegal. If any of them were caught, they'd get sent to jail for a long time. The Lechonks that ran the Hoenn industrial prison sector were corrupt to the core.

If Dartholomew thought about it, his crew was just ahead of the curve, fighting injustice and corruption within Hoenn's government. That was why they were brewing poison to assassinate the predominant leader of Hoenn's business. With him gone, Hoenn would crumble, and Dartholomew would rule the world.

Yes, they would assassinate Chester C. Coins. With him out of the picture, it would create a power vacuum within Hoenn. If they went further, and assassinated Billiam B. Bucks and Donald D. Dollars, Hoenn would fall and a new era would rise.

"If we don't stop Chester C. Coins, we won't be able to be rolling in moolah! This gettin' through your thick heads, capiche? Watch what I'm doing!" Dartholomew turned around and gestured towards an empty metal container. After taking a deep breath, Dartholomew breathed in, and...

"BLAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHH!" The container filled with toxic sludge as the Toxicroak vomited into it. "Like that, see?"

Admittedly, a baby shouldn't be here. Doing this. But this was Milo's, and he started shoplifting at 15. Now he's probably off somewhere raiding a truck headed for the battle tent.. Pokemon, catalytic converter, VIN number, all of it. And of course, this was his baby.

Toxel heard the call of Toxicroak, staring up at it blankly. "..."

The urgency was communicated well enough. Toxel slowly crawled towards the bucket, then fell on its side. Toxel stood up too fast, peering over the bucket and spewing Acid.

Gesshoku did not pay attention to the strange frog bellowing strange words. He had gathered there, in the abandoned warehouse, to complete a job on behalf of his mistress, Yumi Hasegawa. The poison he and his fellow Pokémon produced would be useful for future assassinations, circulated by Team Rocket's black market.[break][break]

And whatever benefited the crime syndicate benefited its members, no matter if they dwelled in its center or at its periphery.[break][break]

Slithering to the nearest metal container, the Seviper bit down on the rim of it. Slowly but steadily, poison began to seep from his fangs. The liquid, reminiscent of GASTRO ACID, collected at the bottom in a dark pool that deepened as the minutes crept by.

"Yeah, boss... We're gonna get him...! He's gonna pay for what he's done...!"

Why? Why would one member of Shred Zeppelin's merry band of misfits betray another of their ilk? Why, of all the Pokemon in this world, was his own Galarian Slowbro conspiring to bring about the death of Chester C. Coins?

It all came back, as it always did, to the Slowpoke Tails. A morbid delicacy, originating from Johto, that involved slicing the tail from a Slowpoke and cooking it to bring out its rich flavour. However, even the very act of making it is a cruelty of the highest order, for slicing off the tail of a Slowpoke is akin to slicing off their very potential. A Slowpoke without a tail can never become a Slowbro, only a Slowking, and a nation born of only kings will never know true joy, for a ruler can know no admiration without subjects, and will never bow their head to another, no matter how worthy they may be.

The snack was quickly made illegal in most regions, but like the forbidden fruit it was, people still sought to taste it. Thus, a booming black market was born, harvesting tails and selling them to any with the money to afford them. A bloody, lucrative business.

This is how Chester C. Coins accrued his fortune: Upon the back of hundreds of Slowpokes without a future. Well, that, and an absolutely horrifying amount of sweatshops, but the Galarian Slowbro only cared about one of those things. He didn't care if that ghoulish millionaire was selling sweat! He had to pay, and the price was flesh and blood!

"Alright... Here goes..." The Slowbro amped himself up as he approached the steel vat. "Gyrgh... Gyeaurgh... GYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEURGH!!!"

Unlike many Poison types, Galarian Slowbro vomit wasn't actually poisonous. Their toxicity actually came from the Shellder upon their arms, which were the actually poisonous part of their body. What that means is that in addition to the several gallons of sludge and acid and venom swirling about, there was also just some normal animal bile. Still, he tried his best, didn't he? That had to count for something.

SCHLOOP! Shortly after the Slowbro had finished retching, a blast of the potent poison from a Shell Side Arm fired out from the Shellder, before plopping into the vat. Did that count as the Shellder vomiting? Hard to say, but either way, the poison was now far more potent, and far, far, FAR more disgusting.

And thus, Brutus looks upon the knife in his hand, and he smiles, for the end of the tyrant looms ever closer...

To watch over her subjects, to govern them accordingly for they cannot govern over themselves. One wrong step, a blind eye, and they have already established a plot to ruin her financier. She cannot allow that. There is money in Chester C. Coins yet, where his death will spell the end for her ambitions.[break][break]

Whatever poison can burn away any other shall win out in the end. That is a saying she has been taught for ages, handed down by the matriarch of her clan for generations. And so, she secretes a queenly poison from the tips of her quills, something so refined it is impossible to refine further, a pure poison, a pure malice to eclipse all others. [break][break]

Spoiling the plot from within seems almost cliche, and yet...[break][break]

She must win their good graces yet, cannot yet out herself as one in Chester C. Coin's pocket. If all fails, Dartholomew and his faction will back her. She must play both sides, til a clear winner comes out ahead. Spoiling the plot before it happens is just a failsafe, but it isn't yet the end of her pursuit of power.[break][break]

"To the end of Chester C. Coins," Kigiku offers, a toast over the chalice filled with the poisons of so many poison-type pokemon. [break][break]

... or to his continued prosperity![break][break]

She eyes the rest of this group warily, wondering which of them is most likely to betray their cause when the chips are down.[break][break]

Something Mirabella wondered if she was surrounded by fools or by idiots. Her salazzle didn't seemed about this Mr. Chester C. Coins or what anyone much her trainer. As along as she got paid and it didn't interfere with her business or life. Who the heck cares if something end up dead? The woman sighed bragging one of the bucket before dropping it in front of her pokemon. [break][break] The salazzle hissed before her maw cough up a dose of her venshock from her mouth. It was more than enough to fill the entire bucket. With the lizard's corrosion ability's if a posion or steel pokemon were were hit it. They would really be in for a rude awaking. Well it's was done. Mirabella relaxed letting the mercenaries deal with the rest. Her pay should be coming or so she was hope. Time was money!

those who don't, such as the nidoking they were now waiting on, would find it's foot being pursued by the little asshole racecar drifting towards it with a bucket in tow.

locking it's brakes and drifting into the nidoking to stub it's toe, the little guy was quick to make demands. "sample! sample! sample!" to show him how it's done, a glob of sludge shoots out from his exhaust and into the bucket, with a little getting on the nidoking's foot...

King’s smile as the anonymous men usher him into the warehouse is nervous. He prays they don’t notice the wire taped to the bottom of his tail. None of them seem to notice. He supposes it doesn’t matter if they did. Even if they say anything, he’s a Pokemon and them mere humans. A venoshock here, a thunder punch there, and he’ll be running for the door.[break][break]
He spends the next blur of time puking a truly prodigious amount of purple liquid into a bucket. Pokemon aren’t supposed to puke up this much purple liquid. His head’s spinning. Groaning, he almost misses the faceless hitmen chatting away about the crimes they’re going to commit with all the poison they’ve collected today.[break][break]
Slamming his tail down in front of them, just to rest, he looks at the ceiling with idle eyes. The men and women inside chew the scenery. People are paid. Everyone departs.[break][break]
Conveniently, after all of the Rocket Pokemon make themselves scarce, back to their trainers unmolested, the doors kick in. It’s the 5-O. Michael Navidson himself here, in the flesh, flashing a badge.[break][break]
