No longer open to the general public, Lavaridge's new gym has since moved atop the flat plateau of Mt. Chimney where its previous open facility has been thoroughly outfitted to better accommodate the ever changing weather conditions. Gone are the dangerous pathways - challengers may freely access the gym by taking the cable car located at the base of the mountain. [break][break]

As the gym itself is now located atop Mt. Chimney, the gym itself is no longer confined by traditional buildings instead opting for an open field to conduct its battles. [break][break][break]

Trainers that wish to challenge the gym must provide valid identification and note which weather condition they would like to participate under. If they cannot choose a weather condition will be chosen for them at random.[break][break]

• IDENTIFICATION » Trainers must provide valid identification. Known criminals may provide stolen or doctored identification as long as they remain undiscovered. Obvious liars and violations (regardless of faction) will face in-character repercussions.
• CHALLENGE » Choose between a traditional gym battle or from a list of non-traditional options.
• POKEMON » A list of each Pokemon's ability and moveset must be provided prior to the challenge as the Gym Leader's choice of pokemon will be determined by the list provided.

TRADITIONAL battles may be conducted in two of the following ways: [break][break]

• TWO ON TWO » in which case a limit of two pokemon per person will apply. Challengers may choose from one of the following weather types: Rain, Sunny, Hailstorm, or Sandstorm to determine the type of pokemon they will be battling. Alternatively, they may use the site's roll functionality to randomly generate a weather-type.
• THREE ON THREE » in which case a limit of three pokemon per person will apply. Challengers may choose from one of the following weather types: Rain, Sunny, Hailstorm, or Sandstorm to determine the type of pokemon they will be battling. Alternatively, they may use the site's roll functionality to randomly generate a weather-type.

NON-TRADITIONAL challengers must use the site's roll functionality to randomly determine the weather that will be in effect during the challenge. The randomly generated weather will be in effect during the entirety of the challenge and will determine the team used. On top of this, challengers will be participating in an inverse battle in which case, pokemon type resistances and weaknesses are reversed. Any type immunity a pokemon might have will also become a weakness instead. [break][break]

Challengers are still required to choose one of the two formats listed in traditional to determine the type of battle they will be participating under.
