HAPPY SECOND ANNIVERSARY, HOENN!

IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS since Hoenn has opened! I can't thank you all enough. Thinking about all that has happened in the past two years brings me immense joy. From the first raid where characters faced Regirock in a desert ruin to an alien invasion from Ultra Space, Hoenn (the site and the region!) has experienced so much. Of course, not everyone was here from the beginning, but that does not matter at all![break][break][break]
Whether you're a roleplayer that has stuck with us since opening, someone who has popped in and out several times, or someone entirely new to this community, I would like to thank you for making this site such a pleasure to run. I don't plan on dropping this site anytime soon, for there is way too much to explore and write in this setting.[break][break][break]

LIMITED TIME ANNIVERSARY EVENT: HOENN HISTORIA

THIS ANNIVERSARY EVENT OCCURS AFTER WAR OF THE WORLDS. The aftermath of the war has altered the course of Hoenn's history forever. Those who have survive the battles begin to grapple with curious effects. Some believe it may be the side-effects of Naganadel poison. Others believe the effects are due to the radiation of the Ultra Wormholes, while others point to trauma as the cause.[break][break][break]
Nevertheless, your characters begin to experience the return of memories of Hoenn's past. Some of the memories ring familiar to the conscious, while others are entirely foreign. Your characters begin to relive scenes from Hoenn's history that they were never a part of before.[break][break][break]
Surprisingly enough, these are not simple moments of deja vu. They're incredibly real, as if you have been thrown into the rift of time before slinging back to whence you came...[break][break][break]
WHAT IS HOENN HISTORIA?
AS YOUR CHARACTERS SLIP IN AND OUT OF THE TIMESTREAM, you will be engaging in writing prompts, challenges and more. When the event begins, everyday for around
15 days, a new prompt will appear in the
HOENN HISTORIA EVENT THREAD. This prompt will require you to post with any of your characters for
daily rewards.[break][break][break]
Your characters may encounter each other in odd spectral forms as they slip in and out of time. However, it will be impossible to identify one another— unless you make the
mutual and conscious effort to.[break][break][break]
Each prompt will either be a repeat of a past event's challenge, or a unique perspective on an event in the past. Nevertheless, I hope Hoenn Historia allows veteran players the chance to relive past events while offering new players a taste of what has happened in the past.[break][break][break]
