THE ENTIRETY OF FORTREE had been redecorated for this event. Brought forward by the Ex-Gym Leader Balder Schwartz , this charity event is meant to gather funds to help those that have been impacted The Ultra Beast War. With the assistance of some sponsors, like the beautiful Stormy Silph and her family's Company, Silph Co, and the presence of RaiCorp (Josh Dragomir ) to assist in hosting this event, Fortree was painted white with artificial snow.[break][break]

The snow covers the entirety of the town, from the trees and their houses to the many parks surrounding the location. Arches and statues made of ice were raised everywhere, mainly decorating the parks, with Mistletoes hanging from many of them. An Ice Skating ring was erected at the entrance of the city for those that prefer small skating sequences or weren't used to it, while a long skating path was also made around the city for those that were more of the exploring kind. The skating track was made so that people would be able to get a view on most attractions and admire the beauty of the city in white.[break][break]

Lastly, many merchants and food trucks had sown up to the event, erecting multiple stalls on the main street to serve food, drinks and offer multiple games to the attendees and the locals. Some times during the night, Fireworks would be launched into the sky, picturing many pokemons and Christmas shapes. Truly a wonderful event to help forget the sadness of the war.[break][break]

this is a casual member-hosted event, just take it easy and have as much fun as possible. [break][break]

while this is announced as a charity event, you do not need to give anything from your account (Unless you participate in Ruby Walker 's secret santa). If you wish to do so, you can state ICly that you donated to the cause or assisted or anything similar.[break][break]

this event will not be a mega-thread. however, there is a mega thread made available HERE on that happens after the speed dating chronologically.[break][break]

• to emulate the speediness of this event, each character may only make 5 posts in each speed dating thread.
• there is no word limit. go bonkers with small or long posts, but if you want to meet the most people, small posts (Also known as shitposting) is recommended.
• you can go through as many speed dates as you like, but you have to finish your current one before you can move on to the next!
• partners will be carefully selected through a bingo system called the DRI_CounterLONE and will follow the guidelines you have signed up with while encouraging new interactions as best as possible.
• there will be as many rounds of speed dating as needed and the ending date may be extended if considered worth it.
• when the event begins, this thread will be updated with pairings, what round each pairing is, and further instructions.
