BLUE PATH
THE RILLABOOM HOWLS, fangs bared below putrid gums. With Kano Iyona and priam conrad in its hands, its muscles engorge themselves with fury. Before the RILLABOOM can contest priam conrad's GUZZLORD, the Ultra Beast is recalled. Kano Iyona's MORGREM realizes it will not be able to stir the creature's sympathy— for the Pokemon is too primal for such frivolous things like bonds.[break][break]
 mint frost's ABOMASNOW MEGA EVOLVES and replies with its own howling of BLIZZARD winds. An EARTHQUAKE from Remi Cassel's KROOKODILE rumbles across the swamp, crushing the stone formations as it rumbles through. As the beast stumbles from the quaking, Lulu Flint's MEGA HOUNDOOM CRUNCHES its hairy leg.[break][break]
While the RILLABOOM shifts around violently, stuck by ice and teeth, priam conrad's BRAVIARY swoops in for a OBLIVION WING across its face. The COTTON SPORE from giona ferrara almost settles— but such drowsiness takes time to affect the senses.[break][break]
priam conrad is released and rescued by his bird; however, the RILLABOOM stubbornly holds Kano Iyona's body in its grasp. Thankfully, @rayne's INTELEON SNIPE SHOTS the ape's fingers, forcing it to spread its hand to release her. Eventually, the RILLABOOM is able to regain footing. Despite the assault on the ape's mobility and potent BINDINGS from Violet Fairbanks's ZARUDE, it manages to break free, tossing Lulu Flint's MEGA HOUNDOOM off its burned leg— but the foot goes along with the hound.[break][break]
Before the RILLABOOM can retaliate, oscar clayton's XURKITREE strikes the ape with a SIGNAL BEAM. The surge of blinding LIGHT from a taunting bryan delarosa obscures the RILLABOOM'S VISION as it charges forth...[break][break]
Ahead, the BLACK WALL is assailed by Rocket. THEO BECKETT's SABLEYE BRICK BREAKS the center, marking the spot that the Admin orders those to strike. Remi Cassel is swift to follow the command. With a BULLDOZE from her powerful body, she drives into the tough, scaled wall. Go big or go home.[break][break]
At the same time, bryan delarosa's plan for the UNOWN is assisted by various others. However, the CLUMP OF UNOWN do not create the desired effect. No portal is made. No rift. As the stomping of a blinded RILLABOOM becomes louder and louder, everyone watches as attacks land with resounding force...[break][break]
The combined disturbance of UNOWN and AGGRESSIVE ATTACKS causes the wall to move. As it shifts, one would be able to see periodically, a yellow hexagon marking. It takes awhile to move along, like a slow magnet train, and with the encroaching RILLABOOM'S STEPS, its pace grinds the nerves. But KING WAYLAND is swift to act with his MEGA EVOLVING LUCARIO. As it focuses away from the churning of UNOWN, it fires a powerful AURA SPHERE from its paws. On the other side, mint frost fires his ICE BEAM. The two attacks meet on opposite sides of the RILLABOOM, piercing right through before exploding on impact.[break][break]
The smoke clears. A gory hole remains, one that PRINCE THALER can see. As the RILLABOOM'S CORPSE slumps onto its knees— the "wall" finally moves entirely out of the way. A gargantuan, red blade-like tail carves a scar into the rocky marsh before disappearing into the darkness once.[break][break]
 Ahead, a DARK SWIRLING PORTAL is revealed. It surges toward the group, attracted to the UNOWN allowing those in the BLUE PATH to jump in without much traversal. However, as PRINCE THALER attempts to advance— the RILLABOOM comes back to life. Eyes lifelessly white, it beats its chest. Vines erupt from its leafy hair as they shoot toward PRINCE. One strikes him across the chest, spilling blood. Before another can finish the deed, DECLAN WALSH leaps out from the shadows. He parries a tendril of vine with a tendril of umbrage.[break][break]
"i won't have the privilege of joining you all." the rocket boss says. "go. NOW!" The Rocket Boss will remain to defend PRINCE before vacating the tree.
RED PATH
ON THE OTHER SIDE, the HEADLESS RILLABOOM rampages in a nightmarish parade with Eris Halla and Cossack Kurama. The vines are thick and tough, and despite Cossack Kurama's own AIR SLASHES they do not slack.[break][break]
However, Martín del Mar soars overhead on his NOIVERN. With a potent BOOMBURST from his draconic steed, the RILLABOOM lets Cossack Kurama go as MAGNET BOMBS explode below. However, Eris Halla is still ensnared. A crack of thunder causes her LUXRAY to be engulfed in ELECTRIC ARMOUR. In a rampage, the RILLABOOM smacks Eris Halla and Reiner with its bleeding head toward the ground; however, it is shocked in the process.[break][break]
Taking advantage of the situation, Dante Telos leaps from the rocks, his ANCIENT POWER allowing him to coast through the marsh before he DRAGON RUSHES against the ape. A powerful collision is crowned by a HIDDEN POWER before @ari shifts as the next defense. Festering poison is shot from her SALAZZLE, the VENOSHOCK burning the ape's feet and legs. Dante Telos would land nearby, a powerful performance.[break][break]
The RILLABOOM screeches, beating its chest as vines shoot forth; however, mielle's VESPIQUEN swiftly orders its COMBEE to assail its vision. The vines flail about blindly before Chu-e Choi's MEGA MEOWTH hurls a hairy GUNK SHOT at the vines, pinning them to a nearby rock pillar.[break][break]
As Eris Halla avoids a harsh collision with the swamp thanks to her LUXRAY'S BRIEF MAGNET RISE, her ally, Serena Malcolm, charges forth with her own SALAZZLE. A deft STOMP crushes the bones of the RILLABOOM'S POISONED FEET (@ari).[break][break]
In the chaos, a vine shoots out for Killian Decker— but Alexandra Briarwood is swift to defend her lover. A NIGHT SHADE prevents the tendril from snatching Killian Decker by the ankle as the two flee toward the portal up on the cliffside.[break][break]
Weakened by the onslaught, Adrian Malcolm's GYARADOS MEGA EVOLVES. Its red scales gleam in this dark marsh. A large crunch announces the pulverizing impact; the BALEFUL BRUX Z-MOVE FLINCHES the beast and holds it tight for Adrian Malcolm to SIPHON ITS LIFE FORCE.[break][break]
However, it's a hardy beast. Cillian Quinn assists quickly, his SHADOW DELPHOX twirling its wand to fire a precise PSYBEAM at the RILLABOOM, avoiding the Eris Halla and Cossack Kurama who are in various states of fleeing. It knocks the RILLABOOM, forcing the MEGA GYARADOS' FANGS to dig deeper into its tough sinew.[break][break]
Raphael Pryde's HEATRAN toasts the RILLABOOM while his SAND TOMBS keep the creature in place for its torture. Although Eris Halla and Cossack Kurama are free, Remiel Calcifet's SHADOW DRAGAPULT fires the finishing the blows. DRAGON DARTS slam into its vines and detonate on its muscular frame, chunking old flesh and forcing the creature to drop its head.[break][break]
As its life leaves its charred body, Adrian Malcolm, weathering heat and shockwaves, siphons the last of its life, condemning the ape to a permanent death. The vitality taken is old. Channels through Adrian Malcolm with the taste and texture dusted with history.[break][break]
 Raphael Pryde's HEATRAN cremates the RILLABOOM with the remnant of its MAGMA STORM. Thankfully, despite the harsh conditions Adrian Malcolm endured, Martín del Mar' LIFE DEW and mielle's COPYCATTED VERSION keeps him healthy and composed.[break][break]
Ahead, Rowan Wrynn has rushed through the swamp on his SWAMPERT. Able to avoid most obstacles without slowing, he is first through the portal. He disappears, the trodding of his Swampert's feet suddenly muted as he passes.[break][break]
Everyone else scales the steep slope, while Cillian Quinn would find that his ANCHOR SHOT can act as a GRAPPLING HOOK.
THE TREE OF THE TREE
WHEN Rowan Wrynn SLIPS THROUGH THE PORTAL, he can hear the collective whispers of UNOWN. They cry in mysterious tones, a pixelated symphony before he arrives to the next destination.[break][break]
He lands on firm ground— but it doesn't seem like it should be, for he can see that he is on top of a thick field of leaves and branches. On second glance, he realizes he's on the top of the gigantic tree Rocket had seen in the distance awhile ago.[break][break]
Rowan Wrynn would find a horrifying sight waiting ahead of him. Everyone else would follow, shunting into this new space, ears acclimating to the new height. Here, the air is thin; the winds are strong and the smell of blood is pungent.[break][break]
 Ahead, XERNEAS lays fidgeting, squashed underneath a massive SEVIPER. Larger than anything anyone has seen, this snake is comparable in size to the tree itself. Its fangs are sunk into XERNEAS' NECK. Heavy streams of blood pour from its body, staining the top of the tree red.[break][break]

There is no sign of SUICUNE; however, the biting wind is present still.[break][break]
Tufts of leaves and extensions of the tree's branches provide cover in places; however, there is no railing. Falling off this tree would mean plummeting to this hard ground of this foreign plane, thousands and thousands of miles below.[break][break]
The deer fidgets, the kaleidoscope of colour in its antlers glimmering then dimming in alarming rhythms. Upon sighting you all, the SEVIPER hisses at you all. Fangs red with blood channeling through its VENOM CANALS, it continues to drink THIS XERNEAS' BLOOD.[break][break]
In defense, it spews a massive SMOKESCREEN at all of you. A tsunami of smoke billows past, obscuring vision and strangling the lungs.[break][break]

Phantom Force proves to help her and War traverse through the terrain. Even as Rillaboom stampede towards their groups and vines threaten to tangle them dangerously, Phantom Force gives reprieve.
