THE BRIEFING

THE AQUA INITIATIVE has been called upon to prepare for the incoming meteoroid, 99943 METENO. Plans to warp the celestial body into Sea Hoenn, an alternative universe, require the use of carefully refined primal crystals.

These crystals contain natural primal energy, an ancient resource from Hoenn's past. When struck with other powerful energies, they are able to make contact with other dimensions.

The AQUA Initiative's job is to set the crystals up across Hoenn's towns and cities (barring Sootopolis which is under Rocket occupation). The first crystal will be set up in Petalburg City, where new gym leader, DEREK HOFFMAN has been briefed.

Your job is to set these primal crystals in special machines designed to house them. Those who have participated in the Ultra Beast War may recognize these machines as modified versions of what the Megalopolans had used to create ultra wormholes. You may also protect these structures from thieves, Team Rocket, or Pokemon who are attracted by their presence.
