Ah well. You know what wasn't dangerous? Clamperl diving. It was the most relaxing part of the entire dang Splashfest. No pressure to perform, no secret schemes and tricks, no reminder that Mr. Meteor was about to high five Hoenn with its face and kill everyone horrifically. Just Step 1) Swim, Step 2) Profit. That didn't go well at all. Josh's timing was so far off he didn't even execute the three twists before the Mantine reached the crest of its jump. Resheph and Snacker both raced toward their trainer to try to catch him first and ended up colliding. Snacker pushed the stunned Dragonair out of the way and floated underneath Josh, letting him mount up. The swift shark dove toward the barrier reef, Josh becoming less picky about what he brought up with each pass through the reef.
