Josh's mask has a golden-orangeish hue, with yellow cheek pouches painted on that sport markings akin to a cat's whiskers. A circular black shade surrounds the mask's small eyeholes, with an angle towards the bottom meant to depict an electric ferocity. The mask's nose has the same horizontal oval shape as its namesake, drawn in black, but also features a small pair of wings drawn onto the upper sides, with the ends resembling lightning bolts. Finally, spiked ears have been attached to the top of the mask, with tiny, barely audible bells hanging from the edges.

Inspired Pokemon: Jolteon

A jolteon mask allowed Jack to express his affinity for energetic electric type pokemon without upsetting his partner boltund. The only time Jack had tried to wear a boltund costume as a joke, Watts would not stop barking until he took it off. Jolteon was still fashionable without starting a headache-inducing barkfest.

Much like her favored Pokémon, the mask Izumi ends up creating is based off of Gardevoir; and it’s not just the normal standard-colored Gardevoir but its shiny coloration.

Rather than the bright green-colored ‘hair’, its ‘hair’ accoutrements are more saturated to emphasize that this is not the same coloration as the normal-colored Gardevoir. With eye holes large enough for her to peek through (and give a naughty little ‘giggling gesture’ should she so want), the half-faced mask conveys an air of mystery.

Under the dark, though, that’s where the mask’s true beauty shines; heavily drawing from the move Moonblast.

There’s a reason why shiny Gardevoir are wearing funeral dresses, too…

INSPIRED POKEMON: Wooloo
INSPIRED TYPE: Normal
INSPIRED MOVE: Cotton Guard

Hilariously—or ironically, in this case—the mask Jack ended up making had him defaulting to his ‘favorite’ Pokémon:

Wooloo.

Now that he is herd master to several stubborn ovines that love to make fun of his equally-useless Yamper, Sumi, he couldn’t help but be affectionate towards the Pokémon that made his life both a pleasure and a pain.

With so much cotton balls and white puff used for the front of the mask, it’s no surprise when said mask is put on, one may even mistake the wearer to be a Wooloo! The floppy ‘ear braids’ are made from gray-painted Styrofoam balls, strung up and sewn onto the mask along the sides.

The mask itself is so soft, it’s almost like Cotton Guard, which makes an already-fluffy Wooloo even fluffier!

INSPIRED POKEMON: Braviary (shiny)

INSPIRED MOVE: Tailwind

With a title such as the Birdfather™ it was no surprise what he was going to choose.

Of course he was going to model his mask after his shiny Braviary, Kyouya. Of friggin’ course he would.

He was no stranger to arts and crafts (the perks of being a drag queen on hiatus) so with some of the feathers he was going to use for the mask actually donated by said avian, he set to work.

The vibrant blue feathers from the shiny coloration make up the front and the sides of the mask, stitched on very carefully to the mask to resemble the avian it’s inspired from. He’d deliberately leave some of the other feathers stitched on with near-invisible thread, dangling as they blew in the wind—

Much like the Tailwind that the Flying-type species as a whole were known for.

Inspired Pokemon: Duskull

A duskull mask crafted in a fit of inspiration. Robin's dream about a shiny duskull bringing her good things has inspired her to mimic it. The design of a duskull's face is very definitive and recognizable to her, but she did scare a young child while she walked around with it on. Maybe a brighter ghost type would have been a better model. In any case, she felt well-represented by it.

Normally when one would imagine him, they would default to either the shiny silver Metagross he travelled around with, or with the Iceborne Mirage that he was the human champion of.

However, Lars decided to keep shit simple this time by inspiring his mask on his Lucario, Alpha. After all, he was the first legitimate Pokémon he’d caught (as the rest were gifts from family members now dead or missing) by himself.

Okay, carving the leather was going to be difficult, however somehow he’d managed it, cutting several pieces to resemble the Jackal Pokémon’s ears and long snout.

Once he’d painted the correct colors on the mask he was making, it would take more time stitching it together (and several minor accidents in the process) before he was satisfied with the finished product.

He felt reasonably satisfied he’d captured the profile of the dual-type and the Ability Inner Focus as well.

INSPIRED POKEMON: Altaria
INSPIRED TYPE: Dragon/Flying

It's an elegant mask, whimsical but holds the undeniable power of a dragon type. A sharp blue base covers the top half of her face with a small, silver, curved beak curling over her petite nose. Around the eyes silver gems sparkle to accentuate the small openings. On one side, a pillow tuft of cotton cascades down to shoulder length.
