Sio's in just about the same condition, save for her hovering observation over everyone- but that's fine. She can let the others rest while she keeps watch if need be.

Especially when one considers that Kuro had taken the brunt of the damage, however small- it makes sense that Sio would want to ensure the Zorua was in tip top shape. Being a scrooge was something Sio felt was reserved for more solitary situations, after all.

As Kuro perks up and carefully takes the caramel from Sio's hand, though, the detective can't help but give her own soft, amused chuckle. "Well of course; that would be nice. Perhaps I'll give it a few more as we go along. A little token of gratitude, if you will," she responds, just as humorously and hopefully. To her, the little kit behaved much like a cat- a food motivated one, but that's nothing she's unfamiliar with. But of course, she'd have to see how the rest of this journey pans out. Perhaps song could help them pass the time? Maybe it was just the time of year, but she's definitely certain that the tune to Carol of the Bells is stuck in her he-

No, wait, that's just Itiá softly whistling it. Well. at least it makes for entertainment.

Makoto smiles a little at Sio's response. "Just... Not too many in one day; it's a lot of sugar for one Zorua, otherwise." They speak softly, scritching Kuro under the chin. The fact that he hadn't returned to their shadow right away was a good sign - even if it was still being rather shy about Sio.

As Itia began to whistle though, Makoto would glance in the Phantump's direction for a moment, before chuckling. Softly, they'd whistle Carol of the Bells with it - joining in the little carol the best that they could.

The group, perhaps, needed this little bit of levity after that fight.

With time, as the group fled, the distant sounds of the spirits and ghost-types would begin to fade; leaving only the sound of the wind and the crunch of snow to fill their ears.

Gradually, Ysera slowed to a less breakneck speed - the dragonness rumbling softly as one of her heads glanced back the way they came. But seeing no danger, she'd relax - instead turning her gazes upon Yuina and co.

El, too, would glance to the others - asking "A-are you guys okay? Noone hurt?" They would've checked on Ysera - but with her Moonlight, she was able to keep herself in more-or-less tiptop shape without too much need for assistance.

But, with the frenzied retreat they had made, El quickly realizes... That they were, perhaps, a little lost, having lost track of where they had left off with their stick-to-the-right system. "I... Which way s-should we go from here?"

They were sure that the group had passed by a few turns back the way they came - but they also didn't want to risk running back into the hostile spirits by backtracking... But just going forward could mean that they were skipping up the right path completely!

At the question, Ettie would tilt her head a little - before shaking her head. "Ettie don't know." She spoke honestly, with a little shrug. All she'd really been doing was wandering - and it worked for her thus far... But how much further was there to go, she wondered? "Friend don't know, either?"

But, in the meantime, she'd glance between the two - before offering "Is hurt? Is hungry? Ettie can help, or share." If they were just as lost as she and her pack were, then she might as well try to give some aid where she could, right?

"Of course, of course. I wouldn't want him to get sick, after all," Sio responds, nodding matter-of-factly. It still would be nice, she thinks, if he grew more comfortable around her. She always imagined the kit's fur was just as soft if not more so than any other Zorua's- perhaps like a nice pair of mittens or a knitted scarf. But ah, well, she'd cross that bridge when she gets to it.

For now, she's more than content to listening to Itiá and Makoto caroling. And in all honesty, it's not very long before she begins to hum along, too; it's an easy melody to catch onto, after all.

And so comes serenity, a more than welcome guest amongst the group.
