A Carbink was talking, or it was trying to talk to them, but he didn't speak pokemon.

Perhaps if he had brought his Hound with him, but it was busy elsewhere. Instead there was someone else in this place with him.

More doors opened, and he presumed that the creature wanted him to go that way, and so he chose the opposite path of the other interloper, and went to see if there was something interesting. Luckily for him his boredom would finally be staved off.

On the outside his Hound continued to gather the shinies off the beach not concerned in the slightest for his master. Such a thing would not deter the man.

The Magikarp Splash didn't do well today, so the ambassador takes her Calyrex shard with her to the beach while Clovis the Prinplup follows them. The Prinplup jumps in the ocean water and Elise lets Charles feel the ocean water on his legs. She sees the Prinplup come back with a Clamperl and she opens it for both Clovis and Charles.[break][break]

slowly, absinthe lowers her into the water so that she may swim back to her trainer. eyes trailing after her bobbing pink body, absinthe wants to say, well, if she ever needs a babysitter...[break][break]

what she actually says is "i better let you get back to it."[break][break]

a viper cannot nurture, no matter how much she wants to. it is not in her nature.[break][break]

all she can do is coil and kill.[break][break]

kasper was...admittedly okay with being underwater. it was heights that they found they didn't like, more often than not. so when they had heard about the clamperl diving, it hadn't taken long for them to decide to go for it, splashing unceremoniously under the water. unfortunately, they were also human, so their blind grasping had been cut short once they thought they had hold of something solid.

First the Clamperl, then a peculiar but pretty looking purple stone of sorts, they certainly had found a nicer area maybe to swim around in for a time. Daikenki kept close as always, making easy work on swimming along the waves to keep up with Yuina and Doug, while also keeping a hold of the bag that filled up little by little with the trinkets and such they managed to find
In all of their swimming, Yuina was sure that soon it might be time to head back to the beach for a small break, reapply sun screen, and maybe find another section entirely to go swimming through if they went down the beach a ways.

Aww dangit, another Pokéball. Trainers really ought to work on their throwing skills so that their balls didn't constantly end up in the bottom of the sea. Andrea had no such issue. Her balls always hit the mark, except that one time when they didn't, but we don't talk about that.

Aisling descended into the cool, dark waters off Slateport’s coast, the pressure of the ocean gradually building around her. Her lungs stung as she navigated the underwater landscape. The sea was alive with movement—schools of Luvdisc darted by, and the vibrant coral swayed gently with the current. Down here, it was serene, almost otherworldly. Flareon waited on the surface, but Ninetales swam beside her, wisps of frost shedding off in the watery depths. Aisling’s eyes narrowed as she scanned the seabed, searching for the telltale glint of a Clamperl’s shell among the rocks and sand.
