While many Pokemon help with decorations, Dhelmise is a part of them.[break][break]

The compass-like 'eye' of the phantom anchor whirls around to fixate on different parts of the room as one of the designers fusses over where it would best compliment the decor. Like many Hoennian weddings, this one carried themes of the sea: whites and blues, with the cake styled like a lighthouse and a flock of wingull brought in to settle on the chandelier.[break][break]

Dhelmise can't speak: if it could, it would impress upon its keeper that it hated those damned birds.[break][break]

At last, a place is found for Dhelmise near the entrance to the hall. The seaweed that the specter inhabits snakes around the doorway like crawling vines, dangling just low enough to brush against the tallest guests. Dhelmise finds great satisfaction in this small trickery.

Acacia was ecstatic when Remiel chose her— out of all his pokémon— to take upon this very important task. Upon arriving to the location of the wedding, bright-eyed and vibrant all over, the Leavanny immediately got to work. She weaved beautiful, semi-translucent banners that she attached to standing poles at the edges of the seating arrangements, buffet, and the grand altar. They were embroidered with intricate designs that many could expect to find on leaves when examined with a magnifying glass. But framing the site with such banners wasn't the last of her chosen tasks.

The last, and most important, task she had to undertake was the decoration of the altar. This she spent considerably more time on, gathering branches from a nearby oak tree and manipulating them to frame the U-shaped altar. Once she had done so, she would weave a white sash of silk between it in decorative fashion, tying them into pretty little bows on each end. While she was it, the wooden deck and its railing was also adorned with white sashes of silk. The ship wheel at the center of it, however, she left completely untouched.

But there was still one thing missing... oh yes! Flowers, of course! Arguably the most fun little add-on task on her list, Acacia was quick to grab a basket and go pick a bundle of them before returning to dress the altar with several. All of them, of course, had to fit the theme and color pallette of the wedding. So blue pansies, white hyacinths, and red lilies galore were chosen and carefully placed within the altar, adding some much needed color to the scene there.

When she was done, Acacia stepped back to gaze at it all and squee with pride. Remiel was going to love how good of a job she'd done! Maybe he'd treat her to some delicious cactus juice for it!
