IN OCTOBER — the aftermath of the war is spent rejuvenating the region. pokemon and trainers are hard at work, repairing natural landscapes, while clearing fields and mountains of macabre remnants. still, pools of poison remain where naganadel and poipole have fallen... until they are cleaned, poor unsuspecting wildlife may find themselves within these toxic traps, forcing them to become aggressive and hostile.[break][break][break]

when kakuna are about to evolve, their shells begin to heat up. however, it may be possible for the evolution to be halted or delayed should you cool their tough cocoons. fool the kakuna with ice-type moves so that they can be transferred away from littleroot before they turn into a swarm of beedrill.[break][break][break]

-Less than 10 Antidotes-

They needed to cool down the shells before they turned into a swarm of angry monstrosities, and that wouldn't be fun. The newly minted Ranger had been itching to get out on the field, and now was the time. "Ice Beam!" he called to Henry, who may have acted a little slowly at first, but they launched a beam of frozen vapor that would cloak over the shell, beginning to quickly cool it down.

Hopefully that would be enough.

kyle sends out his water-type to get the objective of letting these pokemon cool down done. he's not sure about how a kakuna's biology is affected by it, but he's not a science major anyways so he gives himself a pass for not understanding such facts.

the vaporeon cools down the kakuna with a gust of icy wind. temperatures drop at the touch of the breeze, but not so much as to damage it thoroughly like what a blizzard would do to these pokemon.

kyle remains on his phone, in contact with the ranger forces, as he waits for operatives to come and transport these pokemon out of this place. he cannot go home until everything was done to its completion apparently, so he might as well make idle chat with whoever was in charge of this.

[attr="class","spiral"] Fernando deploys his own bug to handle the snow. His Snom finds itself at home among the cocoons, dangling from a tree as it wriggles closer. Once it get within touching distance it releases a POWDER SNOW. The artificial snow is enough to cooldown the area and fool the Kakuna.

Once the Snom is done, Fernando allows the others to come through to relocate them.

Clad in safety equipment it took the head scientist a moment of fumbling to release his amaura. It stretched its legs and neck on release before looking up expectedly at Lucas Lane.

"Come on little fella," Lucas said as he bent down and picked up the Amaura. Holding it in one arm he pointed with his free hand toward a tree with cocoons dangling from its branches. "Freeze the branches." The amaura looked up at him and blinked. After a short sigh Lucas would point again at the tree and blow wind out his mouth. Mimicking an ice beam to the fossil pokemon. Wagging its stub-like tail happily mimicked its trainer. It released an ice beam and refrigerated the branches around the cocoons to cool them down.

Imagine getting paid to kick around some pests. Sandslash wasn't the cruel sort, but it could enjoy a bit of preemptive payback, knowing full well what a horde of Beedrill in a frenzy could enact.

Plus, when they swarmed together, they could generate lots of heat from the friction... Sandslash wasn't exactly fond of that sort of thing, in light of its blaring weakness to heat and fire. And so...

While the others chilled the kakuna to their core, coating them with a protective rime and hoar frost, Sandslash would juggle them like hacky sacks using TRIPLE AXEL to help maintain their temperature. Though to anybody watching, it would seem less professional than a bit careless and insensitive to the kakuna. But f#ck 'em.

They were about to evolve into a bunch of needle sh!ts nobody wanted near their town anyways...

Despite being new to his team Razz still planed to use the odd fox pokemon. It almost felt weird to have them in his arsenal but thankfully he did otherwise he wouldnt ne able to help with the Kanuna atremtping to evolve and wreck everything. With the use of Frost Breath Frost was able to help in putting a stop to it. The ranger just sighed in relief knowing just who much Beedrill could be a problem.

Now just to wait to aide with their relocation.

Frau Holle loved the great outdoors. The sight of the tainted Kakuna cocoons that made the forest below their home, however, was a worrying sight. She understood why her master had sent her here. So, without further delay, the shining Frosmoth took to the skies with a single, gentle (yet powerful) flap of her wings.

Like an angel, she soared across the cocoon hatchery, raining beautiful glittering ICE SCALES that would descend upon the territory as quietly as she flew over it. With their mere gentle touch, these scales froze forest and cocoon alike. The tainted Kakuna would be forced to wait until another season to awaken... or never awaken at all.
