the highest roll will earn a shiny purugly; the second highest roll will earn a regular purugly, the second lowest roll will receive a regular glameow, and the lowest roll will net a shiny glameow. the gender of the pokemon can be decided by the recipient.
the attempted capture will not consume a pokéball.

Tara has been spending her time looking at cat picture to the point that she want one. She already have multiple cat doll resting on her bed but she wants a cat pokemon and the news about purugly swarm is more than welcome for her as she quickly goes the petalburg city to catch some cat for herself. Time to vibe with the cat!

Another Swarm.

Unlike the last few he wasn't the first on the scene.

Also unlike the last two he didn't have any particular attachment or interest in the pokemon gathered.

He was here to protect the balance between the pokémon the environment and the humans who would inevitably show up.

If one of these felines took a liking to him and wanted to come along had a pokéball to spare. If not, it was just as well.

Selena is not sure an addition of a cat in the already chaotic household will help her in any way of maintaining peace and balance. She is already sure Raijin will take up the space wherever the purugly wants to rest its fluffy underbelly and Lucifier and Raphael will not automatically like the new addition to the quadrupedal Desmarais family. The feline may even feel burdened and confused as to why the Kalosian decides to keep her in her office.

But when a glaring has been the latest craze in Petalburg where she is currently visiting, it is impossible to not want and try to have at least one of these adorable cuties.

what fugly cats.

granted, she liked cats. they were a lot like her in that regard. fickle. pretty. but these... were not. only the under-evolved ones; that's it. a shame they didn't get prettier the more they experienced, but whatever. rare was rare. Shiny variation was Shiny variation! Dutch leans forward in the grass, feeling her rear brush against the foliage.

one of the crafty little kittens came closer, already spying her. well! she wasn't known for subtlety. she takes out a ribbon; shame, she wanted to get closer. it would sway it's hips back and forth, eyes dilated as it tries to follow the trail she made for it. here, kitty kitty... come to Pirate Mama.

well, hell.

that's a lot of cats.

cassidy's never been the biggest fan of cats, now, but he sees the benefit in adding a purugly to his team. his lips screw up under his bandana, thoughtful. maybe one of 'em would like to be a fellow cowboy?

he takes off his own trusty hat and places it on the head of one of the purugly strutting through the streets, and has to resist the urge to jump when it tosses its head back and screams.

Well damn.

These swarms really didn't seem to be working out for her. Summer was wondering what could be the problem with these Pokemon not wanting to leap in her arms. She was charming and cute, right? She was getting frustrated after the failed attempts with the Eevees and Lucarios.

But she reflected, if only briefly.

Maybe if she was more positive, she could lure one closer to her and draw it in with her charm. Summer thought it was worth as shot, taking her own stance to the side of the group forming around the swarm.

Elerlay’s camera shutter clicked rapidly as he snapped a picture of the glameow that snoozed in front of him. He shifted into yet another position - moving steadily into a crouch.

He focused the camera as the pokemon stirred and slid it's gaze over Elerlay. He snapped another picture. The Pokemon sat up and peered into the camera. He snapped another picture. The pair continued their photoshoot as the crowd of pokemon and trainers grew around them.

Purugly in Petalburg City? Michi knew there was a swarm in town before she'd finished eating her morning miso soup. Thor was barking his head off in the backyard as curly-tailed felines taunted him from the fence. Why couldn't he be so vigilant about Lunatone stealing her persimmons?

She welcomed many of the visiting trainers inside and encouraged them to catch as many Purugly as they wanted-- she had more than enough to spare!

"It is very convenient!" she chatted brightly, passing out Lava Cookies to some of the people waiting around, watching the Purugly dodge Pokeball throws and fighting back with steely claws. "For me alone it is too difficult."

Part of her wondered if she should try and catch one as well. She wasn't as familiar with the cat show scene as she was with the dog park, but surely her Instagram would benefit from having a lovely gray cat around! Perhaps after everyone had gone home, she would find one having snuck into her bedroom from an open window.

Chu-e had many Purugly and Glameow. One could say he didn't really need another one.

But what kind of Cat Hoarder would he be if he didn't try?

So Chu-e was out here, as he normally was, trying to become one with the felines and use his vast knowledge of kitties to get one in a pokeball.

Who knew if it would actually work, lots of other people out here with the same plan, but he still flung a Pokeball anyway.

these seemed to be happening more and more lately. luckily, it wasn't barnaby's responsibility to report on this one. a downright gang of purugly - with a litany of glameow minions in tow - had invaded the city. they didn't appear threatening, just entitled to every surface they came across. cats were everywhere - draped across window wills, benches, fountains. hell, even in the street. a cacophony of car horns filled the morning air.[break][break]

barnaby was trying to enjoy his breakfast croissant, but was finding it difficult. the café he has stopped at was, of course, littered with cats. several of them were giving him those large, begging eyes. how distracting.[break][break]

Oh thank fuck it wasn’t Purrloin.

No, seriously, it would take Alexei a million Pokédollars and then some for him to come by should the next reported swarm be that of Purrloin and Liepard.

He’d had bad experiences with those nasty garbage-can yowlers back in Castelia, a decade or so ago now, and was quite frankly not keen to relive the experience once again.

At least the Glameow and Purugly were nicer, right?
