Earl Grey the Sinistea finds the luxury ball Remiel had thrown empty and trampled upon when he comes across it. Deciding his master would want him to capture this Unown-Q above all else right now, especially after dumping him at the bar so sloppily, the butler teacup was quick to rise above the crowd again and search for their target.[break][break]

Spotting what appears to be the Unown across the room, the Sinistea enters a shadowy portal (PHANTOM FORCE) in an effort to cut it off and surprise it. Catching this little being would be quite the proverbial flower to put on his proverbial cap! And his butler resume![break][break]

Chimchar dashed past Melody Miro in the wake of the unown proximity to her.

By the time he gets near here the prizemon is already gone, but he wasn't ready to give up yet.

Taking the pokeball under his arm pit the chimchar chased on after the unown, using its natural strength to climb and jump where applicable. Fearing a scolding he held back so as not to cause any destruction.

In their haste to save Zac, the Pillar Men swept MATIAS SILPH along with them, pulling him under the incoming Steelix as it descended at terminal velocity. It looked like kyle lopez was about to get his wish.

"I've got no idea what's happening, mate!" Zac shouted, his words lost in the wind as the roar of the falling Steelix. "Whoever let off that flare really did a doozy on my eyes!"

Again the words were lost, but thankfully Kev's aim was true, and with a tremendous screech of steel stone, Kev crashed down into the observatory and crashed into the three Dugtrio, and Matias.

It wasn't an Unown. It was... some strange hat? The woman wearing it gasps after the teacup emerges from a shadowy portal to surprise her. He bows, profusely apologizing and nearly spilling the ghostly ectoplasm in his cup before turning his attention back to the matter at hand.[break][break]

It was just across the ballroom again! Did Unown have the ability to slip into portals, too? Earl Grey hadn't seen that himself, but his master had spoken about such abilities in legends and texts before. It could explain why they were so rare to see.[break][break]

“We’re trying to get the Unown, duh.” Rowan chuckled, treating this as nonchalant instead of the strange situation that this was. “Where's your boyfriend? You should use his shoulders too.” The Unown came closer, and Rowan took the opportunity to go for the Pokémon again.

terrakion just watched as MATIAS SILPH fucking died. this will be the second time he does if his spine gets fractured from the impact.

kyle felt dumb when zac says he got blinded as well. "oh, that makes sense." of course he would since they were together. still he felt like he could've described what happened.

he decides to just look at it himself. their landing was a bit successful at least, since they didn't die. when he looks at what caught them, kyle just gives zac that disgusted stare from the kimetsu no yaiba meme.

"zac, what the fuck?" he tells. "can i go back to being blind?"

he looks around to look for MATIAS SILPH. "where you at, silph boy?" he shouts. he's the only silph he has met that night, but on hindsight, it was expected that there should be at least ten of them in the party.

The ground suddenly trembled around them, forcing Locke to take their eyes off of their Pokémon and look back at the crater where the Steelix landed. They stared at it for a moment, contemplating the decisions that led to the disaster, then turned away with a silent apology to Zac Ramsay, the other partygoers, and god to continue the search for the unown.

Or he was, until something round smacked him in the head, leaving an impressive (and admittedly well-deserved) bump. Locke looked around trying to find the find source while rubbing at the wound.

He wouldn’t get much of a chance to search for his assailant, however, as he suddenly found himself floating along with everyone else at the party.

That’s normal and fine and not at all terrifying!
