Hailing from the cold Galarian north (Get it? Hailing?), the blue and white Mr Mime is no stranger to Hoenn’s sudden not-so-tropical winter weather. In fact, Terence is all too comfortable now that the temperatures have lowered, so much so that when sent to Lilycove’s car wash because his trainer “doesn’t trust the pokémon there to do a good enough job without proper supervision”, he even takes it upon himself to stay and help out some more!

Tippity tappity tap, the icy soles of his shoes (or is it just feet?) go as he approaches the most recently washed car with a bounce in his step, his SCREEN CLEANER ability being used to make the windshield look perfect. Not a speck of dust. Not a sign of dirt.

To the unsuspecting Hoenn populace, the threat of frozen plumbing was very real. So much so in fact that many affected by the shift in weather now relied on the improvised use of pokemon to supply them with the much needed water that their damaged plumbing could not.

Seaking is among their number, using its power to SOAK the cars coming through once they have been soaped up, rinsing away the suds clinging to their frames while the SCREEN CLEANERS did their part to remove the excess.

a fish stays in a bucket near where its supposed station is. diligent as every other pokemon under the employment of the pokejob, it waits until the next car comes along.

it's not able to move much due to the fact that it's a fish, so it's only able to soak one side of the car. it's a very powerful fish tho, since the jets of water that come out of it might as well be compared to pressurized washers, so it basically just replaces automatic tools with itself.

at least it's a fish. fishes don't remember much anyways so it probably won't be offended by being used like a tool. it's not like fishes have any other function anyways.

If Penelope were honest, she had basically no idea what she was supposed to be doing. But she was going to fake it till she made it, baby.

You need that greasy smudge removed from your bumper? Water Sport, done. Your car is in desperate need of a good rinse? Easy, Soak.

Your mirror has dried residue obscuring its reflection? I gotchu fam, Water Gun. Oh, shit, wait - that thing definitely just flew off the car.

Screen on, screen off, screen on, screen off.

Simple task for the world's biggest cleanliness freak. Something thrusted upon him in the labs, and quite frankly the Mr. Rime enjoyed it over the battles most of the other of Master's pokemon got into. There was something therapeutic about making something something dirty clean and with the help of his SCREEN CLEANER ability there was almost no specks of dust to be seen. [break][break]

At least until one car seemed to have a speck that just wouldn't go away. No matter how much the Mr. Rime wiped it, a spray and a wipe. Nothing. Another Spray and wipe and nothing. After a few minutes the customer tried to get out of their car to tell him it was fine before Mr. Rime gave them a look[break][break]

They were not allowed to leave until it was clean and that was final. And the customer was too afraid to tell the Mr. Rime otherwise. So they just stood in the car for the rest of the day. Having to call their boss about being late because of a crazy Mr. Rime.

Mr. Mime wasn't too happy to be sent to work, and it was evident on his face as he appeared. He made a grand show of it in front of everyone, with dramatic hand gestures and movements while pointing at his lips.

Patrons exchanged strange looks.

However, he noticed a rather dirty windshield. Ah, perfect! That's where he came in. Using his SCREEN CLEANER, he made sure it was squeaky clean.

After doing so, he bounced around on the car, dramatic as ever. Perhaps it was a mistake sending him to this job.
