Hoping he would have better luck at scavenging the ocean floor than he did trying the MAGIKARP SPLASH, Cade returned his rental MANTINE for the day and set back out into the ocean with his Dewgong. They would dive down at spot near LOVER'S PEAK. It didn't occur to him that they might come across something disgusting until they were already there.

On the other hand, however, perhaps they'd find a MEGA STONE that a scorned lover cast off to the sea? He'd had an ex tear his coats with a GRANBULL once. Hell really hath no fury like a woman's scorn...

he needs more to the collections. he's not going to stop until he gets what he wants. it's not like there's a limit on how many times he can dive down to get something nice.

maybe something that works nice as a souvenir for the event, if not something expensive. he's not even asking for anything special as long as it's not trash.

This particular Splashfest game lacks the undercurrent of rivalry present in most others. While Skyler had caught sight of familiar short brown hair somewhere amongst the waves, diving for treasure, she doesn't feel tempted to follow suit. At least, not right away.

She feels that, in this, she's already proven herself plenty. So instead of surreptitiously sabotaging her self-proclaimed rivals, Skyler opts to kick back and relax. She'll get to treasure hunting.

Still riding the high of successfully pulling off the Magikarp Splash during the Mantine surfing event, Gavin's in somewhat higher spirits as he preps for another dive among the Clamperl. He even manages a smile when he takes a selfie by the water to text to his fiancé.

After partaking of the events thus far and partially succeeding in one of them Aidan would take to the seas with the diving equipment given to him by the event organizers and workers, it was time to relax and let the sea take him to unexpected places and journeys. He liked when the sea took over his path, he had made too many mistakes to let himself pick the way life should go.[break][break]

Watching the many species of water pokemon just swim by peacefully brought him joy, they were unbothered by him and it was rather nice to just fade in to the background like he was something they had grown used to. Of course none of the more predatory water pokemon weren't meant to be found around the diving areas, he was sure that the people overlooking the event had sorted that out.[break][break]

His Greninja had nearly found something good - but alas, all it came up with was another Pokeball. Not that Hideo wouldn't appreciate adding another to the pile. Hideo could barely imagine doing this on his own, yet it sounded like so many other people were doing the dives themselves. Wasn't this pretty deep water?

Seemed so much safer to just have a water-type Pokemon do it, like he did.

Back at the surface, Marshall took a minute to whip off his goggles and rub his eyes. All the diving he'd been doing was going to leave a permanent goggle outline on his face! Or so he joked to himself. Determined to find another cool prize to add to his collection, he strapped the equipment back on, took a deep breath, then submerged again.
