Once he’d managed to find something, he was sure—

He was sure he was holding onto the other man’s hand, before a sudden thought seized him—

Realizing that his weight in the water was almost next to nothing because of… weird science-y shit (brain overheat, too much thinking) he then pulled Memo down and surprised the other with a kiss underwater! No nothing, just—

The heat of the moment seized him as he quickly closed the distance, cupping the other’s face as he went in for the kill.

Was it an uwu-worthy kiss…? Who the hell knows.

At the same time, though, that… that was…

His answer.

He wondered how the other would react when they broke the surface of the water to catch their breath again in a bit…

the last dive was a bust, but if there's like a five percent chance that he gets something expensive, then that just means he has to dive twenty times to get returns.

it's not how math actually works, and he hurt himself a little for convincing himself with that logic, but he'll take all the motivation he can for now.

The stone he'd found between his fingers glimmered so brilliantly, even beneath the vague shroud of darkness within the ocean's depths. Oddly enough, it seemed to be rather reminiscent of some of the other bits and pieces he'd acquired prior, and he couldn't help but think if they were related to one another in some way, shape, or form.[break][break]

Regardless, he knew just from a glimpse that the gem had undoubtedly been one of high value, and thus did he carefully slip it away for safe keeping before bringing his attention to another spot— that time between a couple of pieces of coral.[break][break]
