In a way, she's thankful for these blue shards she's been getting. They're not at all useful, that much is true (that she knows of, at least), but they do appear only under specific circumstances, and historian as Lia is, she knows that one day they may be left as a vestige of the distortions that currently overtake Hoenn. Locke looked over towards the beach, where a few red and white shapes could already be spotted amongst the crowded shoreline, and gave a sharp whistle. One Delibird could be seen responding immediately-that would be De-De, who never missed the call-and drawing the attention of the others before swarming the waves.

It would take a moment for them to reach the two men, but hopefully they'd pick something up along the way.

She'd heard many people talking about how they were tired of diving, swimming, fishing, and dunking, and she did feel a little of that herself. But she would miss the peaceful activity and the rewards.
