The sound of curse words and swears that should not be spoken in our good, ProBoard-friendly forum rings through the air at the Fortree Bird Sanctuary, coming in the company of loud squawking, screeching, and even the most occasional melodious chirping.

The Meowth sways her pink tail, looking at a Chatot and giving it a long meowed lecture about how swearing is definitely not PR friendly. Cash Money would know, right? Of course POG Bank’s most beloved mascot wants to help the wonderful birds at the sanctuary when it comes to finding homes that will adopt them… it totally has nothing to do with that Mars himself has made generous donations to the sanctuary, so she’s personally invested in making sure it looks good. Nope, not at all.

Sunshine the Sunkern was completely oblivious to the inane cursing of the nearby Chatot.

Such words had no meaning to the small, plant-like Pokémon. The animated way the Chatot were saying these naughty, colorful things entertained the Sunkern immensely. It seemed so fun! And people had such funny reactions to them!

Pleasant as ever, the little seedling simply chirped back sweet affirmations, complimenting each bird on its unique voice.

Although the ghost and flying types had some kind of training dealing with her human trainers fowl mouth, this took it on a whole another level.

Her hear holes filled with profane or obscene words scream, squeaked, and screeched from the flock of chat. She grimaced, shaking her head in the disgrace they have learned. No threat though. She can correct them.

Using her arm like wings to puff out her chest feather, the oricorio turned on her mother mode. A scowl on her face, matching into the mess of misbehaving chatot to teach them a thing or two. The sensu popped, featured, and even threatened some of the chatat in order to get them in line. One in particular got a good old slap across the beak for calling her the one that starts with a b and ends in a h. Never in her life has she ever been called such a name.

It was all horrible. Her mother would have killed her for saying such words. The oricorio wasn't sure how much longer she could take it. It was going to be a long day.

Parfait is not having a good time.[break][break]

Chatot fly around her head, cawing and screeching out curse words in various levels of profanity. Parfait's trainer never swears, so the Hatterene had learned quite a few new words today. And she hates all of them on principle.[break][break]

Though the oddly cooing cries she makes are unintelligible to human ears, the message in them is clear:[break][break]

Your vibes are atrocious.[break][break]

And since none of them want to listen to her, Parfait chooses violence instead.[break][break]

Her clawed appendage arcs through the air, plucking naughty Chatot out of the sky while they squawk and struggle and call her all manner of names. Once she's nabbed enough of them, she carts them off to an enclosed part of the sanctuary— the naughty corner.[break][break]

That's right, birdies! Sit and stew in time-out for a while. Anytime one of them tries to misbehave and curse again, a sharp look and vaguely threatening aura from Parfait sets them straight.[break][break]

the best pokemon for the job was someone who can understand emotions of its fellow pokemon.

like a true empath, riolu can empathize with others easily. that's just how empaths are. he does not know apathy, and will never be able to ignore the feelings of the chatot he is with.

colm the riolu, an empath, sympathizes with these pokemon.

they were wild, and they were unruly, but all they need is someone to confide. that someone should be able to understand them, such as an empath like colm himself, and that's where the connection is made.

he uses his understanding of empathy to show them how much of an empath he is, and then using the concept of empathy to start a coaching session with them, trying to right their wrongs with his understandings as an empath.

Barnaby's bright and effervescent AZUMARILL was well-matched for today's task. The gaggle of CHATOT immediately caught her attention as she approached the Bird Sanctuary.

Elaine was so absorbed in observing the cursing CHATOT in the branches above her that she didn't even see Elisabeth Fiorelli's SUNKERN chirping in the dirt. So, she literally trampled over the small seed-like Pokémon as she waddled toward the trees, completely oblivious to its presence. Her full 70 lbs. weight came down on little Sunshine. Sure, the AZUMARILL felt the difference in texture beneath her feet, but chalked it up to it being a pile of leaves or something.

Whoops. Honest mistake.

Anyway.

She extended her arms to lend a HELPING HAND, allowing the birds to perch on her as she patiently corrected and explained not to use such foul (pun intended) language.

The sound of cursing and swearing from a very vulgar Chatot was not an unknown one to the poor Espurr. Josh's own Chatot, Polly, had been a volatile presence back on the old Ranch, and while they were still making their way through customs, the fact remained that the Parrot Pokemon had left... Quite the impression on all that lived there.

To be honest, it was probably best it was away from the kids until Josh could figure out how to rein in its... Impulsive tendencies.

So this wasn't anything new at all for Amblin. Everytime the sweary canary would speak out of turn, it would use psychkinesis to give it a little brain jolt to get it to stop. Hopefully that would work in time.
