When she heard there was an underseas treasure trove, Madd didn't wait to place the call. Free stuff was at the top of her list. It wasn't like running an old fishing shop paid that much. So, even a Pokeball could help get a lunch or sandwich or something.

Though not a graceful swimmer, the redhead could flail pretty effectively. With her Blastoise holding her close, the pair joined the other divers in the Sharpedo greed frenzy. Spotting something in the sand, she grabbed for them.

A MISHAP WITH HIS GOGGLES causes him to rise earlier than expected. the constant circle of his legs tread water as he readjusts the plastic seal. only when he feels it affixed to his nose, testing it against the water’s surface, does he find it fit to re-submerge.

Go Clamperl Diving they said. It'll be fun they said. Now, sitting on the platform staring into the water, Biscotti doubted it. But he hadn't had the guts to tell his friends he was scared of water. That the last time he went swimming, he'd gotten snagged by a Dhelmise and almost bit the big one. Unfortunately, he doubted that story would earn him many brownie points with the few dorks who agreed to hang out with him.

So, instead, he followed them out here and made excuses. Now, he was the last one out of the water. A pair of bright trunks didn't manage to draw attention away from the patchwork of scars that covered the baker boy. He looked like a war vet that had been tossed in a washing machine full of razor blades. But none of those wounds hurt. Nothing did really.

"Whirl." His Poliwhirl sat beside him, froggy eyes narrowed impatiently. A gloved hand jabbed at the water irritably: get in the water, moron. It's hot.' A couple of sentences communicated in a single lip. "Just a quick dip, Scotti. You got this." Grabbing the Poliwhirl's webbed hands in a vice-like grip, he shut his eyes tight and pushed.

Watching people clamber on the public diving platform, Oz was glad he wasted money on his mini yacht. The thing got little use, but it was worth it to not have to squabble for space like Leonardo on a floating door. Setting his camera up to record, and turning on the GoPro on his neck, Oz clambered onto the rain of his ship.

"You ready to go, Ana?" The Eelektross hissed as she slithered over the railings. "What's up, O.Z.s?! It's the man behind the curtain and today we're testing our luck at Hoenn's lost treasure game! Let's see what we get." Sure, he could just buy this stuff, but that ruined the fun.

A familiar, warm hand gently grabbed onto the eel's fin as they pitched backward into the tropical waves.

Either way, he now hung onto the remaining Wingull floatie like a dice-obsessed gremlin, determined not to lose it because if and when both were irretrievably lost… then he would be doomed.

"Glub glub..." Howard glubbed as he dove into the ocean, chasing his Clamperl. He had faith that Shirley would keep people from stealing his precious haul. As he dove deeper and deeper, he wondered how Clamperls swam exactly. Did they push out jets of water in order to propel themselves forward, or did they just go with the flow?

It was a mystery he strove to solve. Hopefully his Clamperl brought him to something useful, so he didn't have to throttle it for jacking up his hospital bill.

"Glub glub..." Howard glubbed. Glub glub, indeed.

Alphonse dove for the third or fourth time.[break][break]

This was not his style - frivolity and celebration did not suit the quiet giant of a man. But he had scored some good wares - things that could be used to empower his Pokémon. And so he made another dive, Beldum strapped to his back. The steel creature didn't seem to mind too terribly. It weighed Alphonse down even more than he already was and helped him walk along the bottom. Al reached at another clamperl shell and waited to see what he had gotten this time. Maybe it would be another useful tool to help him get closer to his goal. The face of Navy flashed in his mind - but he would eventually come for the sheriff.[break][break]
