To think it's been nearly two years since I've nestled myself among the Hoenn shadows. Time flies when you're having fun or having your ass kicked, the jury's still out on that, but I can wholeheartedly say that there's a reason I want to keep sticking around despite the odds of life trying to thwart the attempt. The mods, the community, the site in general, and of course the Hoenn Good Vibes™. All worth it 1000%.

it's crazy how time flies. i've enjoyed my last few years here immensely, and a large part of that is because of the incredible work and dedication that shiv and SPIRAL put into the site. thank you both so much for creating a space where so many people can come together and have fun! the stories written here and the friendships i've made are things i've truly come to cherish about hoenn. here's to many more years to come ♡

It's funny. When I joined in December 2021, on the long-dead-and-buried Amber Lenoir, I thought 'Eh, it's just a Pokemon forum. What do I even remember about Pokemon? Not sure this is the place I'll vibe.' But my friends wanted to try it, so I said fine, fine. I'll give it a proper go.

Then on a whim, I made a Rocket who was the most self-indulgent thing I could imagine. And the rest is history.

I am being very, very sincere when I say Hoenn is the most fun I've had roleplaying in ages. I genuinely look forward to catching up on threads and site events, hanging out with everyone on Discord, and getting the opportunity to write with such passionate, talented people. It's been a bright spot in my life for the past almost two years, and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate having this creative community to return to, over and over again.

Thanks shiv and SPIRAL for all the work you do to make this happen, and for sharing your little story sandbox with us. We'll enjoy it as long as you let us!

it has literally been just a few days since i've joined, but i've actually been peeking at the site every now and then for the past handful of months (●ˇ∀ˇ●) i took a long break from rping, but i'm so glad i decided to finally hop on! the community is so wonderful, kind, and dare i say it.... slayful........... congratulations on the five! whole! years! very excited to be part of the next leg of the journey! \^o^/
