Antipatharia was a graceful one of the tide, but when it came to traversing on the land she was much more bashful regarding her movement. Flipping her little leggies next to an ice cream stand in the back of the restaurant, her task was to do something quite simple within her eyes- turn all the melted ice cream cold again, and if she was lucky, turn it into something unique. Up for the challenge after sniffing each of the flavors, she slowly began to manifest a creeping aura of frost into the stand with intent.[break][break]

The SHEER COLD of hers was quite prevalent with each passing second, so much so that crackling could be heard within the sweet treat canisters. Puffing into dippin' dots fragment by fragment, they were now ripe for the tasting! Though they were quite crunchy due to the immense, shattering chill, they definitely had time to thaw a bit out to become soft.

Tempest had just let Agni out and left. It was less a job to him and more a chance to try and curb some of her endless appetite. He would close his eyes and he would not see her carnage.[break][break]

Because the Flareon was a Shadow pokemon. She was also much less interested in actually helping and more in just devouring all the food herself.[break][break]

The Fire type pulled herself up onto one of the tables, knocking plates and other such things asunder. She started to scarf down the raw meat and whatever else she could get her teeth around. If one of the staff approached her, she would growl and fluff up and snap at them.[break][break]

One unlucky staff member tried to shoo her down with a broom, which she promptly just set on fire with a Sizzly Slide.[break][break]

Chaos. But she would at least get full before returning to her trainer.

Like a child on his first day of school, Balmung wasn't doing too well. Roy dumped him off on side of the street and waved just a single hand goodbye. The trainer would be back once the charizard's shift was over, but not a minute before then. It was up to the fire-type to handle himself until it was time to punch-out.

Once Balmung entered the back of the establishment, he played witness to the Flareon giving into her appetite and a Lapras that attempted to keep the assortment of ice cream flavors cold. Like the other fire-type, the charizard thought about giving into his cravings, but decided to help out instead. Nearby the group, a set of burners on top of a stove struggled to enforce heat on the pots that rested above them.

Not knowing what else to do, Balmung acted as the dedicated pot manager. He would use Flamethrower to heat up the pots and pans until the soups and pastas would boil. Going off his own estimates, the charizard would then move the finished meals onto the countertop next to him for whoever was next in the assembly line. Like a machine, Balmung would maintain an efficient pace, but many of the soups would overcook in the process.

Elise had an important appointment to be in at Rustboro City, so she drops off her Yamper at the Petalburg City’s restaurant that needed a job done. Elincia gives a bark before she goes to the back of the restaurant to find absolute chaos on the table with cooking pots. Well, one of the Pokemon were wolfing down dishes instead of helping to test the cooking pots for the right temperature in cooking them. She doesn’t care to eat since the electric corgi had a job to do and she’ll get this done with her move.[break][break]

The Yamper jumps on the table to sniff at the cooking pot first before making her body cover itself in flames with Flame Charge. The fire from her move makes the cooking pot heat up enough that the beef stew inside boiled to a nice temperature for cooking. After one of the restaurant workers came to get a bowl of beef stew from the pot, the human woman was kind enough to give the Yamper her own bowl of the delicious hot beef stew as Elincia eats the stew with good manners.[break][break]

Elincia herself was, after all, an electric corgi Pokemon who followed how proper her mistress conducts herself at eating time.

In an effort to help its trainer, Noel, out in acquiring more funds for their journey, the fox-like Pokemon set out to do whatever job it could find out in Petalburg City. After a few hours of no luck, it by chance stumbles upon a restaurant with a wanted ad pasted on its window. "Finally a chance to show off my cooking skills and claim my spot as the best cook in the party," the fire-type thought. With a smug look it enters inside along with various other Pokemon all eager to do the same.[break][break]

Once at her station, the Braixen is immediately set with worry. It had no experience whatsoever on how to actually cook. Peering from side to side as it watches every other Pokemon successfully create their dishes, it couldn't help but start to seethe in anger. Energy begins boiling from inside its body until it couldn't contain it any longer. With a Burning Jealousy, it unleashes a fiery wave that completely trashes its surroundings, destroying most equipment and setting fire to Pokemon and people alike. Thankfully with the help of some nearby water-type Pokemon the flames were doused and no one was severely injured. However, the Braixen was promptly kicked out of the establishment. Defeated and dejected, it slowly begins its journey back to Noel with nothing but scraps and charred marks to show.

alpha has a little name tag hanging on around his neck. written on it was his name, and with the way he keeps on patrolling the area, makes it easy for others to assume what he is there for: being an open agent.

when other people need to adjust temperatures the other way, and no other pokemon was free, they call for the mightyena. "hey alpha! here, boy!" he would hear, and then he would follow.

the dark-type trots to where a voice would call for him. with the other person's assistant pokemon not having an ice-type move to lower the temperatures, ice fang would keep the the flames low for them to start over again.

"come here, alpha," another one would call.

legs carry him over to a stand with ice and frost, having overdone it and getting their equipment stuck. fire fang would defrost any ice formation that hinders their work, and then off he goes to find the next place he'd be needed to.

With a cute little ribbon around her neck and fur expertly brushed, Vanilla looks picture perfect for her first day on the job![break][break]

Only Luka isn't much of a cook, so her Vulpix isn't accustomed to being in the kitchen. After a few kerfufles and little accidents, she's been relegated over to the drinks, which she's more than happy to help with. After all, everyone needs ice![break][break]

The cubes her ice beam makes are perfectly clear, like little frozen gemstones. With a bit of concentration, and after a few flubbed attempts, she even manages to start making them into fun shapes! Stars, hearts, perfectly round spheres...they drop into the drinks of delighted customers with a satisfying clink against the glass. And those who don't want their beverages watered down have their glasses chilled with a little gust of icy wind instead. It's perfect!
