LATE SEPTEMBER — as ultra wormholes are sighted in the seas of hoenn, the region begins to be tainted by poisons, the source of which is unknown. parts of hoenn's seas darken with toxic waste, like oil spills. for this reason, head scientist, lucas lane, has entrusted volunteers with a special antidote formula that he has helped create with elite four, thomas benoit's sludge sample.[break][break][break]

a troupe of wild bellossom seem to have become hostile after their intoxication. as they dance, they begin to spread sludge and powders from their bodies, causing significant danger due to their sheer number. the league rangers have asked for volunteers to help paralyze the bellossom before they can spread anymore poison via dance.[break][break][break]

Many delirious and dangerous Bellossom calls for an attack that can deal with them in numbers. Though odd and sometimes completely unpredictable in the third dimension, Remiel summons his experimental Porygon-Z to deal with the situation; a program he calls MYDOOM. The unusual being twitches and glitches through its reality, doing its best to stay put and focus on the anomalies ahead. When the royal spots its crazed eye target the dancing flower pokémon, he utters his command.[break][break]

"Execute Tri Attack."

And he watches as his experiment spawns a trifecta of elemental orbs, launching them off with acute precision and refusing to pause until the infected have been thoroughly eliminated. The aftermath is a bizarre landscape of ice crystals, scorched earth, and lighting-struck bark.[break]

While the rest are busy paralyzing the Pokemon, it’s equally important to make sure their remnants don’t end up causing just as much damage.

dominic watches the miniature pokemon dance, swinging their leaves and flowers around as they twirled in an aggressive, noxious dance. dominic regards the motions with something akin to confusion and then turns to his manectric. the pokemon's limbs crackle with expectant energy and after a moment, dominic jerks his chin forward in order to give it permission to attack.

The Porygon2 dug its feet into the dirt to cement its position before cracking open its beak. Humming fills the air and what sounds like engines emanate from the artificial pokemon. Light leaks from its mouth, growing ever brighter with each passing moment.

When the zap cannon was fully charged the Porygon2 unleashed it on the assaulting troupe of bellossoms. It cut through the crowd. Putting an abrupt end to the dancing of several as they drop to the ground paralyzed.

the jolteon has the best name it could ever get. the new champion was so good with her words that she managed to encapsulate the entire personality of this pokemon with just a single nickname: miss pine.

fucking miss pine.

she has to see the light of day from inside kyle's pc somehow, and kyle decides that now was the time. he doesn't want to hear Bailey Cooper berating him about not using this wonderful specimen of an eeveelution on any occasion since he's using it now.

"miss pine," kyle cringes when the words leave his mouth, "thunder wave."

the jolteon raises its spikes so it looks like a pine tree, readying a pin missile, before kyle shakes his head. she doesn't get to live her namesake for today since the objective calls for another thing from her.

instead, she cackles with electricity as thin lines of sparks travel from her fur throughout the vicinity, paralyzing hordes of bellossoms, stopping them from dancing and shit with her thunder wave. kyle stifles laughter because they look like Lucas Lane after he gets hit with a fucking car.

The poisoned pokemon move about in a frenzied manner, each movement causing toxic spores to release from their body and into the air. With its target in sight, the arbok lifted itself upwards and drew to its full height. Split tongue flickering, its body vibrated in loud hisses, the intimidating pattern that was etched across its body flaring to life with an eerie glow. The GLARE was enough to paralyze a few of the waltzing pokemon within place for further capture.

Stormy speaks out loud into an earpiece that dangles at her chin. A few voices acknowledge her comment as they set forth with an assault of Raichu. Several of them arch powerful THUNDERBOLTS into the throng of Bellossum. As they teeter and fall over, paralyzed, Blissey is quick to take them under her wing.[break][break]

Of course, the plump medic is also adding her own THUNDERBOLT to the mix, but she is far more effective as a constant healer to stave off any chemical burns the rangers may obtain while trying to take down this new threat. And, she looks cute doing it.[break][break]

"Do what you can to keep your distance, and don't get reckless," Razz makes sure to order Jet who rolls his eyes not seeming to interested in the idea of not being able to just ram these things with a Flame Charge. Though this wasn't the first time he's been brought to one of these poison problems and he's seen just what the posion could do so he'd go with it for now. [break][break]

With an affirmative grunt to his trainer Jet made sure to use his speed to run and use SPARK near the dancing blossom to do what damage he could while attempting to paralyze them.

On his way back to Rustboro one day Adrian happened to stumble across a group of Bellossom afflicted with the Megalopolan poison. It was only after noticing those already engaged that he'd descended from his aerial perch, swooping down to Littleroot atop his Corviknight Reign before reaching for his pokeballs readily.

He'd noticed a lot of the trainers trying to paralyze the swarming pokemon, specifically with Electric-types, as it was commonly known that Grass-types were immune to spore moves (something he'd picked up at Rustboro Academy and nearly forgotten until now,) so while he'd been prepared to snatch Sirius' pokeball, he instead opted for Rift, his Toxtricity. Tapping the ball's release, his Toxtricity would emerge in a brilliant red aura and a twanging of guitar strings. "Rift, buddy!"

His pokemon stared back, confused. Expectant.

"Use Thunder Shock! And be careful of their poison." Striking the 'chords' on its bosom, it released a striking bolt of yellow towards the crowded Bellossom, while itself being immune to their volatile spores and most poisonous attacks.
