Slowly he chewed on one of the berries he'd been given. His stomach was upset but that was normal for Muk. He was supposed to BELCH. Sénon said so. Eat the berry make a belch, so everyone can fly.

It was a strange thing to be in the air but Muk liked the sky. There was nothing to eat except the berries but it was nice to be so high up.

He could see so far that the ground parts seemed to go on forever. It made him nervous to look down. Things that were big before were so small now he didn't understand how and it confused him.

Being confused made him forget what he was supposed to be doing here, and being here but not remembering why made him panic. In his panic he let out a nervous BELCH and the tiny dragon set it on fire.

It made a small 'Boom' and the Boom made their balloon bigger and they floated longer.

It reminded Muk of why he was here again. That made Muk stop looking down to the ground because it might make him confused again. Muk didn't want to be confused when he had a job to do; because Muk was smart.

Taking another berry from the box they gave Muk put another in his mouth, holding in his belch for as long as he could. Muk wanted this time to last. Muk wanted to get back to Sénon, but more than that....

Muk wanted to never stop flying.

As 'punishment' for trying to eat master's arm, Jormungandr had been strapped to a balloon with another pokémon and tasked to BELCH berries into an iron pot over the course of their aerial voyage. The Seviper, of course, wasn't hurting doing all of this. But it still had a sense of pride to maintain. And, currently, that pride was being wounded![break][break]

He supposed this was better than being fed to one of master's carnivorous dragons. With the added benefit of feeling like he was flying, too. Ahh, what it would be like to have wings! Or even just legs! Glorious legs.[break][break]

He was flying, and he didn't even have wings yet. This was better than anything he could have agreed to partake in, and he was more than happy to indulge these tourists who also wanted to fly. His partner was chewing on berries next to him and he was occasionally puffing hot EMBERS into the ignition, encouraging the hot air balloon to rise.[break][break]

But for the most part they just float and he gets to sit in awe of the view, of the thrilling feeling of being hundreds of feet in the air. Stormy would be proud of him, he knew that. The little Charmander puffed out his chest proudly, and he seems to purr. Just as their balloon starts to dip lower and lower, he blows more steam into the air to push them higher and higher.[break][break]

Toxel has gorged himself on the snacks rewarded to him after his successful theatre debut. He is certain that he won't be able to eat another bite... but then someone hands him a handful of berries, and it's all downhill from there. Down hill, and up, up and away for the hot air balloon — the baby poison-type lets out an almighty BELCH that's quickly ignited by a burst of ember from nearby.[break][break]

Toxel hadn't been listening when they'd explained the job to him. He'd been too distracted by the offered berries to hear anything after the fact, and so the burst of flame gives him quite a fright! The baby Pokemon's TEARFUL LOOK is ordinarily enough to make anyone pity him, but his partner is far too focused on their job to waste time trying to console the overdramatic child. Upon realising that he would get no sympathy from his counterpart, Toxel sulks and sucks on another berry.[break][break]

Another BELCH bursts into flame, and on and on they go...

the growlithe is in disbelief of where it was, but it's excited nonetheless. it's not like the corviknight taxis or just plain riding behind a flying-type pokemon, but it's still flying.

low flames from his ember ignite within his maw before he expels it from his fangs and lights the fuel up for the show. the experience was pretty new, and it's enough to get a puppy interested with the cinematics of it.

tail wagging, the growlithe watches as they get further away from the ground.

Fernando chides the Talonflame with his raised voice. All it takes is a focused grunt to remind the bird to be mindful of its talons. The freedom granted to it allows the bird to be prissy in comparison, unrestrained like the more land based Pokemon who fear falling from such heights. As a bird of prey, the Talonflame fears nothing, squawking with impatience as it looks to light the volume with some backwashed EMBERS.

When the vessel takes off so does Fernando's Talonflame. It remains close by, circling as a precautious vanguard, content to work at its own pace.

gulpin is a new addition on selena's team and there's a great amount of pressure to prove himself among those in the trainer's star team. the job specifically asks for something that can belch, however odd it seems, to run their newly-constructed motors for the newly-designed hot air balloon. selena observes the operations while taking down notes during her interview with one of the company's representative while gulpin proceeds with himself in doing his task.[break][break]

“gulpin!” the green blob immediately leaps into one unit and gulps tons of berries, starts masticating before belching into the air to lift up the gasbag.[break][break]

Unfortunately for Miasma the Weezing, he couldn't fit on the hot air balloon without technical difficulties. Nor could he get super close.

So the poor thing was only allowed on the plus sized balloon meant for larger gatherings, and even then it cut down on passenger accommodations, which meant it cut into their earnings. Not that Weezing understood that.

Passing gas was one of its favorite pastimes, and with free berries to boot, he couldn't be happier. Either face had a mellowed, dopey looked as flammable helium gushed from the corners of its mouth and upward, into the roiling EMBER of its accomplice pokemon. And that's all it took.

A spark.
