GAME RULES
rule one: post order
this game has no explicit post order based on players. instead post order will alternate between teams. once a team has posted, any player from the other team may post but only one person from that team should post!

*since any player can post for their team you may want to announce your intention to post so you don’t overlap with someone else on your team!

**in the event more than one person posts for their team, priority is given to whoever posted first. please play by the honor system instead of whichever post has the greater roll.

if the opposing team does not post within EIGHT HOURS they forfeit their turn and your team may have a member post again.

[break][break]rule two: posting contents
each post should contain a small blurb about how your character or their pokemon is assisting in the tug-of-war. be sure to include a roll and state a move from your pokemon’s moveset. the move listed can be ic or ooc!

if the move listed in your post is SUPER EFFECTIVE against the move listed in the previous post (the other team’s) then your roll gets a +50 modifier!

*go by the move’s type. moves that do not deal damage, such as status moves, still count! using THUNDER WAVE after a post that used a water type move would still get the modifier!

you may only use a move ONCE! you have up to six chances to post this mini-game!

**pokemon with a kasib berry may still only use six move. they just have a slightly larger pool to pick from!

***keeping track of your moveset and marking the one’s you’ve already used will help you and your team formulate who should post next!

[break][break]rule three: win condition
the sum of your team’s rolls are your points! if either team has 900 points more than the other they will instantly win! otherwise, the game will continue until the duration’s end. whichever team has the most points will win!

[break][break]rule four: sportsmanship
this game is intended to be light-hearted and a casual refresher. your teammates and opponents are your fellow roleplayers! participation prizes will be given out so there is no detriment to losing!

THINGS TO REMEMBER
EVENT TIPS
THESE TIPS ARE TO ENSURE a smooth game experience. for actual hints regarding how to win, feel free to brainstorm and theorycraft with your fellow members! just remember that this is a casual game so your fellow players may not share your views and the extent of planning our your moves!

- announcing your intention to post in mini-game channel to minimize the chance your teammates will post as well!
- you can tag the enemy team in your post so they know it’s their turn!
- if your team is approaching the EIGHT HOUR mark it might be wiser to post than let the enemy go twice!
- you don’t need to track your team’s total but it’s nice for record keeping!
- list your moveset in every post and strike through each move as you use them. that way you don’t forget and your team can coordinate better!
- a moderator will go through the thread and track points. bold important information such as if your post qualifies for the modifier to make sure they don’t miss anything!

Lex wrapped her arms tight around the rope, driving with her legs to pull back towards their side, “Arcues fucking damn it this is gonna go on forever,” she grunted. They needed some help. Amber eyes flashed over towards the Tauros she had with her, “C’mon Nitro, we need some ASSURANCE[ that we’re gonna win!” The beast nodded his thick head, channeling his inner darkness before stomping back to give the red team the ASSURANCE they needed to win this thing!
