THE GONDOLA SWINGS TO THE SIDE, pulled back by the ghostly kineticism of

TREVENANT PHANTOM FORCES Hideo Kino and their
GARDEVOIR in purple.
Ruby Walker is quick to follow them onto the ground— and as explosions rock the mountainside, her
URSHIFU DETECTS incoming debris to block with its fists.[break][break]
As smoke billows down the mountain, their torched gondola smashes onto the ground nearby.[break][break]
ICE BEAMS,
PROTECT and
LIGHT SCREEN are cast from the gondola housing the others. Inside the vessel, the metal begins to grow incredibly hot despite its heatproofed constitution.[break][break]
As
illeana reyes's
GALARIAN PONYTA PSYCHICS the car to lift it higher— the screams of
mint frost and his
ALOLAN VULPIX can be heard by those nearby. @giselle's
CHEWTLE balances on the top of the gondola as
illeana reyes's

Greyson Connors's
COMFEY allow for some relief from the stinging air. His
DRAGAPULT flies nearby as
Josh Dragomir attempts to devise a contingency plan.[break][break]
However,
EXPLOSIONS from other
PRECIPICE BLADES begin to erupt as the gondola continues up the mountain. They witness the gondola in front of them fall and smash into smithereens— and as black smoke billows into the windows, visibility falls dangerously low. The vehicle heads into a cloud of sheer black smoke...[break][break]

A WEEZING IS SUMMONED by
DEREK HOFFMAN to
CLEAR SMOG the air in his general area. He breaks off from the main flock of fliers on Garchomp, smoke streaming off his limbs as he avoids several explosions.[break][break]

FROSLASS is summoned, floating as it summons a localized
HAIL STORM. However, an
EXPLOSION catches it—
BURNING IT in the ensuing rush of hot smoke. However, the cool protects
siobhan burke and her
DRAGAPULT to a degree.[break][break]
Nearby,
MATIAS SILPH deftly avoids the explosions on
CHARIZARD. The dragon's claws attempt to scrape across an intact blade to grasp at a shard— but finds that it the shards are inlaid into the stone. It takes force and precision to mine them out— and even then, the ensuing explosions obliterate anything and everything within the blades and nearby.[break][break]

FUTURE SIGHT is communicated to the group: a vague vision of explosions and of Mt. Chimney, one unlike the one they have seen before. It is more jungle than rugged rocky terrain. She is quickly joined by
MATIAS SILPH— and
Victor Wexler, who's phone jingles with its notification. His
DRAGONITE manages to weave through
PRECIPICE BLADES while nearby,
siobhan burke is quick to catch up. As
Cardamom Bliss'
TROPIUS WHIRLWINDS smoke away, they reemerge from the chaos, unscathed.[break][break]

Eris Halla and
Stormy Silph attempt to grab
RED SHARDS too— but they are not so lucky. Despite
TAILWINDS, the explosions catch up with them.

YANMEGA is immediately caught in the detonation, hurling them both toward the ground. Similarly,
Stormy Silph is thrown toward the ground by the force— but her Moltres is not down yet. Nearby,
Amor Rose's
DRAGONITE is able to avoid blade upon blade as explosions erupt around them; however, a
PRECIPICE BLADE emerges from underneath them, striking the
MARVEL SCALED DRAGON in the gut. Although, the
DRAGONTIE does not faint— he and his Pokemon are tossed high into the air.[break][break]
THE CLIMBERS

STARLY. Some comfort is provided from the heat as
samuel carter continues to
TELEPORT her and
kanoa kaʻuhane with precision and skill. Scaling mountains is no unfamiliar task to The Ferryman— but the additional protection provided by his peers allow him to succeed in
TELEPORTING everyone from safe spot to safe spot.[break][break]
THE GALARIAN AMBASSADOR ascends the mountain on
SPECTRIER, able to avoid the
PRECIPICE BLADES— but barely. His
KINGDRA is summoned to fire
FLASH CANNONS as
FERNANDO SILPH's
ZYGARDE helps his other Pokemon by breaking stubborn boulders or forcing
BLADES away. A
LAND'S WRATH is powerful enough for everyone on the mountain to hear it; those underground (
Zac Ramsay,
Asriel Pryde,
giona ferrara,
zenji jabami) may mistake it for an earthquake while
FERNANDO SILPH's
HEATRAN climbs with stunning dexterity.[break][break]
The two, protected by
FERNANDO SILPH's expanding
MISTY TERRAIN do not face the pains of burning. However, they notice an
UNOWN-D hovering the distance, its eye trained on the two before an eruption of smoke covers it.[break][break]

As everyone recuperates from the aftermath of the
PRECIPICE BLADES' EXPLOSION, the odd sound grows louder. From the left cavern wall, a draconic jaw
HAMMER ARMS through, creating a tunnel. Before them, a traveler from Meteor Falls stands tall. A Regidrago, drawn by the immense surge of energy here stares you all down with all seven eyes. It does not seem friendly— for it will do whatever it takes to find the source of power emanating from this mountain.[break][break]

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
JOURNEY TO THE PAST
THE FINAL FEW EXPLOSIONS detonate— and tear into the physical space. Rifts in the shapes of petrified explosions open up in this reality to show an ancient Hoenn jungle on Mt. Chimney. It is not an alternate dimension.
PHYSICAL STRIPS OF THE PAST ARE CONJOINED WITH THE PRESENT.[break][break]
Thick jungle trees dominate where the rugged, dry terrain once was. Those in within the mountain will see similar sights. Old Anorith crawl around, clawing at stones— but their threat dwarves the peculiarity of this break in time. In some parts of the cavern, the jungle appears: places where the land has not raised yet.[break][break]
The artificial remains in the sky still. Groudon too, presumably, for it roars with increasing aggravation. However, those climbing or flying up the mountain will suddenly face an onslaught of
ARCHEOPS. Those on the ground face a large flock of them running— while those in the air face a cloud of
ARCHEOPS who have been able to manage an early launch. Their clumsy flight will cause them to smash into you if you are not careful.[break][break]

Josh Dragomir's gondola emerges from the black smoke. Although a
PRECIPICE BLADE'S eruption rocks their gondola, they manage to avoid being knocked off the track. However, directly ahead, they notice that the gondola system... does not exist in the past. After one more interval of structural support, the gondola is set to careen off the wire and into the prehistoric Hoenn below.[break][break]

CATACLYSMIC EVENT
AGAIN, FOR THIS ROUND, the players must AIM TO HAVE THEIR ROLLS TOTAL AT LEAST 1300, or else a "cataclysm" will occur, dramatically altering the battlefield. A cataclysm is not a failure by any means— but will help raise the stakes and add tension to each of your character's actions.[break][break]
Should the value be too high/low or depending on the circumstance, the roll total may change from round to round.

First, I will not be able to spotlight every single character and pokemon's actions within a moderator post. If a detail has been omitted, depending on the action, assume that it has contributed to a success, failed, or have it resolved collaboratively with another player that is affected by it. I'll make sure to spotlight everyone by the end of the raid, however![break][break]
Please exercise respect, humility, and a willingness to collaborate. Should RP etiquette be broken in this thread, your character may be promptly removed. Furthermore, should you miss the posting deadline, there is a chance that your character will be ejected from the raid.[break][break]
- 6 Pokémon per character (excluding avatar power related Pokémon).
- 3 Pokémon out max at a time (excluding avatar power related Pokémon).
- 1 move per Pokémon.
- soft word count limit of 300.
