Straciatella launched Chu-e Choi successfully, but it seemed the trajectory had been a bit off. “S-Sorry!” he shouted before his attention is diverted back to the chaos at hand. Both pokemon and trainer were doing the absolute most against a foe this size, but it seemed like it was taking it. Well, to be expected from something leeching off a legendary pokemon with regeneration powers. The hit in morale is visible, and he can’t even say shit when bryan delarosa grows more and more visibly desperate. “Straciatella, cover them.” He ordered as they moved around, careful of the Seviper’s tail attacks and everyone else on the field. What doesn’t track is the Seviper’s next move. For a special treat, the monster seemed to blood bend strange copies of people. But…not all the way it seemed. At first, he thought it would just be skinless weirdos but the more they solidified the paler Mint got. The lack of hair and imprint of the eyes shot sudden panic through Mint. It’s not exactly right, there’s no shitty tweed, or round glasses. But its close enough to bring back bad memories. [break][break]

As brave a face as he tried to face his. “Y-Yeah. That’s one way of putting it.” He shouted at @rayne , slightly relieved to see him maintaining his composure. He wished all he could feel was disgust for his copy. But it’s more than that and it nagged at him. He felt shaky, a mixture of adrenaline and fear shocking his nervous system. He clenched his hands into fists in a feeble attempt to steady himself. “Telly, focus a Blizzard on that fucking giant while you’ve still got your juice.” He said, trying to stay with it despite a tightness beginning to form in his chest. Anxiety? A Panic attack? No. No, no, no. Not right now. He heard himself beginning to wheeze as his attention went back to the copy. [break][break]

It began to take wobbly steps towards him, like a newborn Deerling, and then it adjusted to its own form. It ran, but the form is unnatural, something caught between human and beast. Once again, Mint is struck with fear. As the thing lunged in for an attack, Mint’s arms went up in some sort of guard to protect himself. “Back off you fucking FREAK!” he screamed, cold energy coalescing before his mouth before expelling violently with his screams. but Cillian Quinn's voice pulls him away.

not bound by the shackles of blood and sacrifice, theo swaps out his pokemon, and in the place of a tiny sableye emerges a huge naganadel. it hovers into existence, screeching as it releases a DRACO METEOR that plummets towards the large seviper.

and to reiterate the point, theo yells:

"CUT OFF ITS HEAD!"

at the same time, still convinced their priorities aren't properly aligned, he tosses an empty pokeball at the large seviper, then another at xerneas.

They act as one, and for just a moment, she has the adrenaline rush and the hallucination that they're in an action movie. The next step was their superhero landing, but would they perfect it?

Beneath her feet, the earth rumbles with a ferocity to challenge the gods. In one motion, she nearly severs a segment of the gigantic Seviper. Almost, but not quite. Unfortunately, as much damage as they deal, this gargantuan brute seems to possess the ability to regenerate. Really convenient, and another reason Remi is certain they're all going to die here.

For the glory of Rocket, right?

Somewhere in the background, Remi's UNOWN-K veers off on its own to regroup with the rest of them. Whatever attempts to open up a portal or something to get them out of dodge would probably take a while longer, but with a few extra hands on deck.. maybe, just maybe.

But for now, they have another problem bubbling up from the cracks in the ground and the rivers freshly dug by Seviper's wrath. Blood boils more than skin deep, rising from the depths to raise more hell. Before her very eyes, she sees herself. Of course, the bloody copy is hideous and horrifying. She throws up her hands quickly to protect herself, pushed back by her copy's brute force.

And, while she and her Krookodile work together to defend from her blood copy, she sees that they've been graced with the arrival of another legendary Pokemon. This one was shrouded in darkness, vengeful and enraged. She couldn't blame it, honestly, this entire situation was incredibly fucked up.

Remi lunges at the vestiges of herself with a DRAGON CLAW while her Krookodile aims to INTIMIDATE and THRASH it. Given that her hands are quite literally full of blood, she is unable to help combat the snake. Hopefully, Gavin's request for the freed agents to tackle the demon would go through. They were almost certainly running out of time.

"Sure hope nobodies ingesting anything out here! Hate for us to catch some sort of Pokérus or something."

Speaking of, the woman spits pre-emptively in case any of her blood-copy has sprayed her. Absolutely disgusting. How was that portal coming?

One thing she didn’t understand here was why no one just tried to throw a Pokeball at the thing. It couldn’t hurt to try, right? Having a snake that big would surely be a boon either way. But on the other hand, the deer had apparently joined them already, so there was that at least. Still, when she replaced her Pokemon once more, she made sure to also throw a ball at the nearest section of snake. Just in case.

Otherwise, she heeded the order given by the man that had recruited her and went on the offensive. Bringing out her Guardevoir, she decided to go for a simple, but usually effective strategy. “Just use Psychic on the head, everyone seems to be going for that.”

projecting on a hologram the porygon-2 indicated points of weakness. the eyes, the tail. before she could shout it out, however, blood was erupting from the canopy. what appeared to be the skinless undead charged them. she heard her brother Cillian Quinn frantically yelling orders over the chaos, followed by others shouting to cut off the head. the eyes were part of this, so, that was covered. maybe?

the seviper was evidently just as alien in this place as they were. so why was it here? as her own double met her head on, she was quickly out of time to wonder.

what was the effect of killing another version of oneself? if offering blood had altered them this much, she would do her best to avoid finding out. returning her porygon-2, the flash of TELEPORT whisked her away, to the area where the unown were working to open a portal.

Her own unown was there as well. she released a minior. she was untrusting, but through research, she she had decided the dream world was real, and while it was alive with nightmares of its own, maybe it could provide another immediate escape from this realm. clearly, interdimensional paths were more traversable than they’d ever guessed.

ignoring screams, and worries of things like POKÉRUS, she looked with a VESTIGE of hope into what appeared to be the minior’s cratered stare. one attempt to summon whatever powers its species may or may not have contributed to the happenings at the soiree.

”help us escape, and i’ll return you and the others to your home.”

behind her, darkrai was joined with rocket’s other patrons, defending with a DARK PULSE if the world serpent was still moving after the barrage.

The grotesque horror of seeing one's blood copy was certainly something. Though it wasn't worse than putting your dear Dragapult into a tank of shadows and watching it get eaten inside out, infecting it like a bad case of POKÉRUS until the last VESTIGE of its soul was devoured.

As such, Remiel spared less time than one would think reacting to such a threat— especially when a fellow rocket's life (@rayne ) was in danger down below. Noting that his copy had spawned near the lad's own, the admin summons a LIGHTNING BOLT in his right hand that he casts down like Zeus himself, striking the ground at the feet of their blood clones with a crackling flash of blue. An ELECTRIC FIELD spawns from the impact, stunning the doused clones with electricity.

@rayne , in the meantime, will feel oddly faster in its effects. Ideal for a quick getaway.

Meanwhile, the ambassador's UNOWN-H and UNOWN-X continue to take part in assisting Martín del Mar by opening a portal with a small flock of other Unown.

His Smeargle, in the meantime, flips to another page as he continues to SKETCH the dramatic scenes transpiring: in this case, the BLOODY XERNEAS being attacked by Adrian Malcolm 's YVELTAL with an OBLIVION WING. Quite the gothic imagery!

With his blood clone presumably stunned, and the two moving fast and far enough to avoid any direct attack by it at the moment, Remiel steers Zekrom's focus on a target he believes will release them from the current trap they find themselves enclosed in:
