”Ha! Should have thought of that when you threw the first snowball, Jessie!” Something not being allowed? During a snowball fight? Clearly Jessica Manner has never done anything of the sort before. Not like Mars has either, of course, since his experience with winter activities has been mostly limited to snowboarding when going up to his family’s chalet by Lake Acuity in winter, but how complicated could it be?

Jessie pretended to pout for a moment, but she was back to make snow balls. This time, she had the help of Lucy, her Raichu. Mostly because if she had Finn out, she was afraid he'd begin to melt her work.

She waved over at luka chêne, smiling as she decided to join her and Eris Halla at attacking Martín del Mar.

"You're more than welcome to join. Team Women, on the way!"

It seemed that Mars had gotten some back up. Until all of the sudden, Tempest Quinn suggested pelting one Cillian Quinn with snow balls. Poor Gavin.

Why not join in?

Was she though? She sent a ball that Lucy was stacking beside her, unable to hide the wicked smile on her face as she threw one at Gavin and then one at Mars.

Mint clapped his hands together, satisfied with his work. With a good base set, he could forget about it and focus on the middle and the head. He gave the snow at the bottom a few good slaps to make sure it stayed packed in before moving on in his work. He wondered how high the snow in Snowpoint was right now. Had to be a foot at least. OR…was it too early in December for that? He looked up as flurries began to fall, a stuck his tongue out to catch one [break][break]

Gelatto yipped in surprised and stumbled backwards not expecting the aggressive response. He crouched down to the ground, tails poofing up behind him, and eyes wide. He didn’t try to get any closer to the Glaceon and looked up at the trainer that soon appeared next to her. The Ninetails let out a small whimper before sitting up straight. He was a little embarrassed, but even as he tried to hold his ground and look down at the snarling Galceon…she unnerved him. He darted back to his trainer’s side hiding behind him and whining. “Gellato??” Mint asked as he dumped a bit of packed snow on top of his snowboy in progress. “What- what are you..?” he began before looking at Skadi and her companion. “Oh- did he tug on her ears or something?” He asked before the large foxed yipped in protest. Mint only snickered at his pokemon before waving at the pair. “Whatever happened, he was just trying to play. Sorry.” He said as he tried to cover for his pokemon. “I’m Mint by the way. Sorry for the trouble.”

The Eevee let out a small whine at luka chêne . It didn’t matter what he wanted or not, he owed her this, but she eventually let her be as the snowball fight raged on. Helpful or not, she wasn’t about to stay here in the middle of the war zone. She dind’t exactly have opposable thumbs so she couldn’t really participate. However, she’s not opposed to playing with the pinkette’s pokemon and moved to join them for a bit. Andres would be fine on his own. Probably. [break][break]

For his part, the blonde was doing well. He had something done though he felt like it wasn’t as big of a base as he wanted. All the while, his thoughts drifted back to his phone. He decided to take a break, facing the incomplete snowman and flashing a picture before carefully moving to his contacts to send his friend something for the day. Anything. At this point just pushing our a simple ‘hello’ would’ve been enough for him. He typed slowly, quietly and stared at his screen while ignoring the snowballs going by. And then after a moment, deleted the whole thing before pocketing his phone and going back to making the snowboy. It was a good distraction at least. Maybe later, he’d go home and watch Home Alone for a quick laugh. He needed to shake off the heavy mood he was in. Especially when he had a date lined up in a couple of days. [break][break]

So, he tried to stop thinking and worked. As snow wizzes by, a little too close for comfort he wondered where Chuchi had gone. In his search, he doesn’t find his partner and instead pink locks and green eyes. He felt a jolt run up his spine from the surprise and immediately looked away, yanking the hood of his jacket up. “Chuchi!” he scream whispered. “Chuchi we’re going!” he hissed trying to find the little shit.

With Reiner lazily rolling together ammo, she's more than ready to face the newest challenger, readying her aim and tossing one straight at @piper.

As she loses herself in the growing rhythms of a literal playground fight, she barely notices the entrance of Eva Morales or MATIAS SILPH, only stumbling a little as Reiner gently drags her further away from the duo and towards Gavin. When they've gained enough distance, he's firmly placed himself between her and the couple, distracting her by nudging a pokeball from her pouch and calling upon a lazy Snom. With a little hop, he places the small bug on her shoulder, watching as it nudges against her neck and gets that small bit of laughter from his charge.

The battlefield turns chaotic really fast, not knowing who aims who and she finally realized that this might be free for all fight. "Actually, on second thought" Nia raises a fresh snowball that she just made and quickly backstab the newly established teammate as she throws a ball to Martín del Mar while giggling and quickly running away from him in the fear of retaliation. As she laughed heartily, a snowflake suddenly enters her mouth making her choke a little bit but that doesn't dampen her mood at all.

"Hi~ Cillian Quinn" Nia greets Gavin, someone with who she had a chance to work together previously before she throws another snowball at him and quickly leaves him "bye, Cillian Quinn. See you later~~~" Nia smiles widely. Mahiro and Nina have stopped making the snow wall and follow Nia instead.

"Ah, hi. Nice to meet you, love your hair" Nia greets Jessica Manner as she almost crashed onto her while running around. "This is a gift for you, bye-bye ~" Nia says that as she tosses a snowball from a close range before running again. Now, she has run out of ammunition.

But there's laughter in place of menace in the tone of Rocket's underboss, cheeks red from the chill as he takes cover behind his half-finished snowboy. It's not quite as good as the forts they'd build in Circhester snowbanks for their winter wars, but it would do.

He fires retaliatory snowballs at Martín del Mar and Jessica Manner before gathering a handful of snow in his bare hands and dashing out from his snowboy shield.

It's toward Tempest Quinn that he runs, grabbing him rough by the collar of the jacket he'd lent so as to stuff the handful of snow down the front of his shirt. Never fuck with a Galarian native in a snowball fight. They can fight dirty.

He loops his arm around Temp's neck and nips below his ear.

"Sorry, love."

He doesn't sound sorry at all.

Reiner provides sufficient distraction as Gavin draws back from his partner, tugging Eris Halla close to the small group of gathered Rockets. Gavin looks up, blood turning to ice then fire when he realizes the source of the Luxray's sudden intervention.

Reiner was trying to distract Eris, and Gavin was going to help.

"You know, Eris, I haven't built a snowboy since I was a kid. You wanna help us decorate it once it's done?"

Last time he'd tried to build a snowman, his cousin Wulfric had destroyed it; they'd never got to the decorating part.

"You too, Piper! Hey, Nia."

He'd been too busy dodging snowballs to wave back to @piper before; he turns to them now with an acknowledging grin, returning Nia Acadia's greeting before she chucks a snowball at him and bails.

Finding appropriate cover was hard when he was being pelted with more and more snowballs, but Hideo tried anyways - though his chances were pretty poor for fairly obvious reasons. He eventually opted to just try and make some of his own, gathering snow and trying to put together a decent fort.

It wasn’t very good cover, but it might make for a good snowboarding slope. He knew a girl, Lorelei, that would’ve loved something like this.

The actual snowball-throwing would be left to his Froslass, but she was starting to let up; she could see that Eris Halla was meeting up with a bunch of other people that seemed to know her, and Martín del Mar was busy elsewhere.

Still, Eris was getting one more snowball for good measure.

The Crabominable was still hard at work, making sure the next piece was perfect; he wanted this snowboy to look just right.

The assault was a success! Temp ended up pelted by a snowball or two, but it was worth it to watch the gaggle of them (@piper, Eris Halla, Martín del Mar, Jessica Manner, Nia Acadia) all ganging up on Gavin for his snow-related crimes. He was trying to lean over and pack another snowball when Gavin caught up to him.

The snow down his shirt made him yelp and spin when he was free, the nibbling from his boyfriend not doing much to heat the chilled skin.

He thought of trying a counter attack but instead had a better idea. Glancing at Piper and Eris, Temp let out a dramatic 'oofh!' before he flopped down on his back, holding his chest.

"He got me! Please.... go on... without me...." Then he closed his eyes and stretched out, opening his mouth to let his tongue waggle out. Deadga....

Temp couldn't stay dead for long, though. It was too cold! Laughing, he stretched his arms out, the snowball fight forgotten for the moment.

"Hey Pipes! I bet I can make a better snow angel than you!" A stupid grin as he tried to do just that.

Harumi hurried out of Fortree to familiar old route 119, and sure enough, it too was completely frozen over, everything covered in snow and ice. Her Porygon Ahiru bobbed from side to side next to her- they were the only one who wanted to come, since her water-types weren't quite comfortable in colder climates and Taro was taking a nap. Her partner pokemon Tsuki hated deep snow because she couldn't walk in it, but she had dragged her along too.

It was quite a sight to take in. The route was more crowded that she had seen it in a long time; she saw traditional winter festivities and a raging snowball fight, as well as a growing collection of snow sculptures ranging from artsy to abominable. Harumi didn’t recognize anyone (which was more or less the usual), but she did want to make the most of the temporary winter.

She eyed the frozen river, although skating wasn’t really her thing (on a camping trip with her friend Sina, she had fallen through a frozen lake entirely and had to be reheated by her friend’s Pyroar), so she bounced the idea off of Ahiru. “What do you think?” She got a digital chirp in response- the Porygon floated over to a snow-laden tree, emerging with a pile of it on their head loosely in the shape of a hat. She supposed that was a start.

“MAREANIE!” It clearly yelled at the top of its lungs, as if trying to make sure that everyone heard. And why not? It didn’t know of whatever had happened in Snowbelle City, other than some passing notion of her trainer that someone named Wulfric lived there, so it could not possibly incorporate any of that into its actions. Instead, it was simply happy that is ploy had worked, hopping left and right through the snow in pure, unbridled joy. It had not used its most potent toxins on the human, fortunately, just enough to give her dizziness, sore limbs and a healthy slight purple colouration.

Yes, yes, another member indoctrinated into the Mareanie corps. Hopefully, she could infect more people in this snowfield, too. “Mareanie. Ma-Mareanie?” Turning towards the human, all tentacles upraised in what seemed like a quizzical gesture. The human seemed to neither be mad, nor angry at the injection. That was odd. Usually Pokemon and humans reacted properly instead of doing whatever this was. “Mar Mar.” Crossing its tentacles as if it had made a decision, the small usually aquatic Pokemon focused on the human again.

Intently staring, she then began to hop towards the human again, tentacle raised. She was seemingly trying just to shake hands with the other. Only its hand was a stinger, and it was very much trying to give the other another dose, mistakenly believing that she had somehow not managed to do what she’d set out to do before. After all, her poison might sting, but it also very much kept others warm, too.

In the chaos of the snowball fight, Mars laughs, probably more honestly and truthfully than what he has laughed in a long time now. He never imagined himself being the sort of person who enjoys this kind of thing, and yet here he is; smirking as he dodges a snowball sent his way by his supposed new teammate.

The presence of his Aurorus only partially protects him from the onslaught of snowballs, and in the process of trying to dodge most of them, one hits him right in the head; snowflakes mingling with tousled brunette hair and causing him to even swallow a few of them too after they melt right on his tongue.

Another snowball is thrown towards Hideo Kino because all kids should get to enjoy snowball fights, right? The same goes for @piper, so they get one too. But, just as he’s about to throw a snowball towards Eris Halla, he’s distracted by the sight of her Luxray dragging her towards Cillian Quinn and Tempest Quinn.

If anything, he’s glad for it, because with everything that has been happening, Eris sure deserves to have a good day with some lighthearted fun – no stress allowed.

Its tackle succeeded, and when it tried to back away got its face covered in the snow the Dewgong was flicking at it. The Zoroark shook her manes to get the snow out, looking all fluffed up as she squinted and squatted down, braving through its playful barrage to gather a heap of snow and toss it back at Lifeguard. Although it wasn't as quick or well equipped to toss snow as the Dewgong, Yvaine's Zoroark wasn't going to back down from this icey battle of fun!

Meanwhile Yvaine, who was as red-headed as Lorelei and equally fierce, still found the confused Mareanie rather adorable when it looked so confused at the bounty hunter's reaction. Even though she hadn't quite built a resistance to poison just yet, her reaction to the toxins were rather underwhelming at this point-- safe for the purple color where she'd been stung, and the burning sensation spreading through her hands, she was still keeping her voice level. Maybe the toxins were just slow and she'd be feeling the full brunt of dizziness and other symptoms soon. Or maybe she'd just found her hidden talent. Who knew?

4:00. Wallow in self-pity.

A stiffness was settling in her muscles, but Yvaine willfully blamed that on the cold instead of its toxins. Getting down on one knee she regarded the small pokémon as it hopped closer and extended its tentacle-arm, its stinger visible even to her impaired vision. The bounty hunter chuckled at the gesture and its lack of subtlety. "Pfff, quite bold of you to try that again, little one. But I won't fall for the same trick twice." she gave the Mareanie a soft smile while shaking her head, grabbing a handful of snow until it was a proper, thick snowball, and pressing that between her hand and the tentacle. "There, happy now, little one?"

MATIAS SILPH ’s invitation to join him and Locke Jamison is appealing. It has her pausing about half way through building her base. Perhaps it was still small enough to scoot over there and not waste her hard work. It could always just be the top!

Eva looks towards Glaceon for help. The ice-type purrs in excitement, letting a subtle FREEZE DRY lead the way towards the two men. Eva pops the top on the little ice track, and Glaceon slides it over towards them as easily as ICE SKATING.

”I’ve always liked the name Sina,” she muses out loud as she approaches with a smile. He probably already had names for the birds but if he was in the market for one, she can steal hers.
