Honestly, the fact that she was able to cause so much chaos with Eris Halla from a single snowball being thrown was absolutely thrilling.

White spheres were thrown in the air, shattering here and there. She was showered in snow, Lucy letting out little squeaks as she was also covered in snow. Jessie was in pure bliss right now, even pausing a moment to catch a few snowflakes on her tongue.

Martín del Mar caught her attention, trying to summon her over to him. Decorating? Truce? Well, she'd be damned.

But it did sound fun.

"You aren't going to betray me?" she said, approaching slowly with her hands up.

Once the Beartic finished trying for a second portion of the snowman, Derek laid down in the snow next to their unfinished creation. "You ever make one of these before?" A swift flailing of the limbs caused the pokemon to grow concerned for it's trainer, disappearing once he stood on his own. "It's called a snow angel. Here, you make one on the other side to keep our snowboy company after we leave."

”Snowmen freaked me out when I was a kid honestly,” they said as they worked. ”I think the first time I ever saw one was in that movie with the guy who plays Batman. Where he dies and turns into one?” The cgi had been just uncanny enough to utterly terrify to young children everywhere.

That one soup commercial was a close second on the traumatizing snowman media ranking.

”Of course!” Locke gave a sharp whistle, catching the flocks attention and drawing them back to line up in front of MATIAS SILPH. ”De-De’s the boss, then there’s Li-Li, Birdie-Birdie, Pen-Pen, Quin-Quin, and Cado-Cado.”

An indignant chirp came from his chest as his Piplup peeked out of his coat enough to give him a pouting look. ”Oh, and Pip-Pip.”

"Sina-Sina..." He tested Eva Morales' suggestion. "I'll have to keep that one in mind!"

"Mm! We girls have to stick together, right?" Luka beams over at Jessica Manner and Eris Halla as she continues to make snowballs for them to use. She's a poor aim, so her best plan of action is to provide ammo![break][break]

And just her luck— Martín del Mar' snowball hits her square in the face. It's a good throw, all things considered, but she still shrieks and splutters in response, shaking glittering snow out of her bangs. Despite the look of indignance on her face, she's laughing. "Monsieur! I'll get you for that!" she yells across the field, grabbing a snowball for herself. They all have names, because she's sickeningly sentimental. Candice is her first throw, but it misses wildly and hits Cillian Quinn instead. Oops![break][break]

Although that's kind of the point, isn't it? The snowball feud erupting around her is none of her business, but Luka finds herself swept up in the excitement nonetheless. Her cheeks are flushed and fingertips cold, but she still giggles and shouts and ducks out of the way, throwing snowball after snowball, christening each with her own little nickname before they're flung into the fray.[break][break]

And then a truce is called, of a sort. Luka's hand, clutching a snowball, hovers awkwardly in midair. Mars is spared, but she doesn't dare join him and Jessica, for she hasn't been invited. Luka glances over at Eris instead, happy to see the child having such fun. But then her gaze travels back towards andres buenaventura, and the smallest of frowns settles upon her face.[break][break]

She throws her snowball with a surprising amount of force. It hits Andres' squarely in the chest, and she squeaks and quickly ducks behind one of the snowboys, praying that he hasn't seen her.

Tempest Quinn collapses in dramatic fashion, and Gavin laughs as he smooths out the pockmarks their snowball fight had made in his snowboy. With the base complete, all that was left was to decorate it.

Snow markers.

The concept presented by Eris Halla is downright adorable.

"No, no, you dress it up like it's a little person you've gotta get ready for the cold. Like..."

He reaches up to unwind the scarf bundled about his neck, shaking snow from it before wrapping it around the 'neck' of the snowboy. It's then that Eris makes a grab for his hand, distracting Gavin as she pressed small, warm mittens that look like Skitties against his palm.

Bless her.

"What about your fingers, Eris? I'll let you in on a secret." He leans in; it's likely only Eris, Temp, and @piper are within earshot. "Where I'm from, it gets really cold. So I think they might be better protecting you!"

He glances at the snowboy, laughs.

"Unless you wanna give our snowboy some gloves!"

It needed a face, too, but y'know. Priorities.

Hideo truly understood the weakness of his barrier once another snowball (courtesy of Martín del Mar ) hit him, this time in the forehead.

He stood out of cover, readying a snowball...but as he listened, it sounded like people were preoccupied with other stuff now. As much as he wanted to get revenge, it seemed his snowball fight could only go on for so long.

And if he did reignite the war, it was likely he’d get a ton of snowballs coming his way.

He exited his cover, brushing the snow off his head. He could hear his Froslass preparing another set of snowballs. “Come on, Froslass,” he said, “I think we should just talk to them.”

A small array of snowballs plopped to the ground as the Froslass frowned, taking her trainer’s gloved hand as he was guided towards Eris Halla - still unaware she had started the war in the first place.

“I don’t think it’ll melt ‘cause it’s wrapped up,” Hideo said, “That just keeps us warm by trapping our body heat. So if you wrap it around a snowboy, it’ll keep it warm because it’ll trap its body cold!” That was the right term, right?

Granted, that probably wouldn’t help it much once the sun was bearing down on it. But that wouldn’t instantly kill it.

Unlike those weird gremlin monsters from that one movie he listened to a while back.

Jessie narrowed her eyes at Mars. Who did he think he was, thinking he won over all? No way. She and team women had won from the sheer amount they had thrown in a short amount of time. She'd argue that with him later.

"What is your- woah!"

Before she could get her sentence out, he pulled her into the snow. It was a sudden shock of cold, but when she propped herself up to glare at him, she couldn't help but laugh when she saw him smirking.

How could she say no?

"There are better ways to ask me, you know. Moron."

Jessie said that all in jest, rolling onto her back so she could spread her arms and legs out. She had never made a snow angel before. She hoped it looked good when she stood up.

“Mareanie?” Naturally, he did not fully understand what this woman was talking about. But it did not matter. It did get to shake tentacles. Well, in a way. The other was trying to use snow as a catalyst, in order to not get more poison into her system. That was sad. Humans just did not know what was good for them. That was what the mistress always said. And it was right. Clearly, the poison did not truly hurt this woman or anything like that. She seemed reasonably fine as was. Hence, there would be no issue with getting more. And yet, she tried to prevent that.

It was saddening. But Mareanie was a good Pokemon. Mareanie was a smart Pokemon.

Mareanie knew more than one move, too. Hence, as they shook hands, she looked the other in the eyes, smiled happily – and then barfed a Venom Drench right into the other’s face from close-up. Asssuming that it would hit, such, it would then happily spin around, as if making a little dance of hers. “Mar Mar Marrrrr,” she exclaimed joyfully, spreading the good old Christmas cheer. It might not have been cute charm, but it would have been very effective on a fairy. That was pretty much the same in Mareanie’s eyes.

It took some time watching the other contestants for Locke to understand how to actually pack and roll the snow together to get the right shape, but eventually they managed to make three lumpy spheres that weren’t just loose piles of dirt and ice. Putting it together seemed like a whole other feat on its own, but luckily the flock was already working to together to stack the spheres onto one another.

Which left him free to consider MATIAS SILPH’ request. ”Most of the time I just base it off the species’ name, or the kind of sound it makes…But that’s kinda hard for Jynx…” Locke watched the other man catch a few snowflakes and copied the motion curiously while he thought. ”Blondie-Blondie, Granny-Granny, Yuki-Yuki, Yama-Yama, Val-Val, and Kyrie-Kyrie?”
