He could attempt more Magikarp Splashes and try to increase his score by as much as possible until the end of surfing, or he could coast by while repeating the less difficult tricks.[break][break]

Alex wanted to try Mantine surfing being a new comer to Hoenn and wanting to partake in the regions summer activities. [break][break]

Being a Sinnoh native, Alex's specialty was not water, however it did not deter his motivation to ride the surf.
