At least the Huntails were relatively easy and hassle-free to catch and release, though, and it was certainly always better to catch something rather than nothing. She cast out her line again and twitched her fishing rod to wiggle the bait enticingly in the water, hoping that her string of good fishing luck would continue.

Josh smiled softly as he snuck a peck on Izumi's cheek when the kids weren't looking. Wow, she really did yeet that Magikarp. Seriously yeeted. And somehow, the word "yeet" is what brought this post to a "College Graduate" level according to the word counter. How about that?

And now it says 11th-12th grade. Apparently the word "yeet" is actually cursed.

Either way, Josh found himself with a really small Lumineon on the line. He didn't recall catching this one before... Maybe it was one to consider?

as she reeled her line in, she saw the mantine's wings graze the surface of the water and a smile broke across her face. she'd have a hard time deciding between this one and gyarados she'd caught earlier.

A Gyarados? Well, that was definitely something. They had the harsh reputation of being beasts, and the personality to back it up... Well, if nothing else caught him eye then Matus was certianly going after that big sea serpent. A little more research would be necessary to make sure he was ready to handle one, but he wasn't a stranger to brawling with a pokemon... Even one much bigger than he was.

But, those were thoughts to be had later. For now, he had to focus on the bobber in the water before a pokemon could run off with the bait.

this next fish was not much to write home about, so she removed it from the hook and tossed it back to the water. after, she cast her line back out and secured the rod to a corner of the boat before fetching the lunch cooler. two BLTs were pulled from it, one handed over to delta.

before sagira could take a bite, there was a bend in her rod. she set the sandwich down and jumped up to reel in whatever was at the end of it.

After taking a bit of a break, Night was back on his fishing nonsense again. The two Octillery back to back had just been enough to send him off for a little while. He could practically feel Phobos taunting him from where the squid was lounged in the water; swaying its tentacles just enough to draw attention towards the lure—helping with the catch in its own... weird way.

Although the serpent upon the line proved to be just as much of a beast as the last, he couldn't help but smile as he took a gander upon its radiant splendor.[break][break]

Between the prior one he'd caught and the one he'd known and loved, himself, it had only been natural to appreciate such a fine specimen. After some debate, he pulled another Pokeball from his reserves before tapping it atop the creature's head before setting it aside to join the rest.[break][break]
