Before you can respond, the earth quakes. Thick tree trunks snap as a large, obsidian dragon head smashes through the forest. But upon second glance, you realize it is no dragon. Rather, it is a dragon-shaped limb connected to a maroon golem. On it, a bearded red-headed man with tattoos commands an attack against you:[break][break]

"Intruders! Regidrago, strike them dead before they wreak further havoc on our land."[break][break]

Its limbs join together to form a complete dragonesque skull. An orb of red energy begins to form signaling that it's time to flee. How do you attempt escape?

"Oh my gods...I wish these were voice acted." he hissed as he sat up in bed, eager to consume another update. His excitement is dulled by confusion at the mention of avatars. "They don't...have avatars in other universes?" he tilted his head curiously.

And then immediately the cheeky grin spreads on his lips and he tilted his head back letting out another squeal of delight. "My favorite color is RED, gods ABOVE!!" Honestly not having to worry about his life for once sounded quite appealing. And if anything, being close to Winter- Or Dionysus seemed like a good way to understand what this faction of Arceus was.

"Don't interrupt." the expression sours as the Regidrago takes over the screen and he immediately selected

It was a shame that another choice was chosen; but Makoto nonetheless raised an eyebrow curiously, at the information offered by Father Winter - Dionysus - in response to the questioning. On track to become an Avatar - which would doom the player character? They'd put less stock in it, if it werent for the strange reality-hopping that they had just done.

Makoto didn't exactly appreciate the possessiveness - but then again, they had to suppose that that was an otome for you. Too many stories seemed to enjoy the crazy-possessive-overprotective love interest. But, what was crazier was the appearance of a strange pokemon they'd never seen before - Regidrago - being sicced upon the PC and Dionysus by a bearded man!

There were plenty of options offered - but with the Hot Topic reading 'Reckless', well... They supposed that there was one way to throw a wrench in their attackers' plans. Thus, they picked Option 1 - Attack with your own Pokemon (Crobat / Supersonic). That would throw off the beast long enough for them to beat a hasty retreat on Nobusuma's back, were this true to life.

Father Winter... no, Dionysus, revealed that the young cosplayer was on her way to becoming an avatar, which sounded wrong on so many levels. She didn't want godlike power. She just wanted to turn into a Pokémon.

Suddenly, Regidrago. There were many options, but the most surefire way to deal with a hostile enemy was to fight back!

he's learned from that the pokemon has its own exclusive move.

it wasn't impressive under a smeargle's power, nor did it bring enough utility as other moves known by mythical pokemon. ultimately, kyle doesn't mind not having it on his repertoire, but there's one thing that tempts him to do it.

"alright. we're going to die now."

there's no actual threat behind the screen, nor does it stop kyle from doing what he would realistically would do. surely, dionysus would protect him if what he claims is true.

Others in Hoenn were apparently a lot more open to AI risk than her. [break][break]

If not for the possessiveness, the man's behavior could have been charming. Instead, his entire demeanor gave her goosebumps. At the talk of avatars, her lips pursed. What Pokemon would choose her for such an important task?

Very quickly the scenario shifts from threatening to perilous. A legendary Pokemon was about to attack them? Where was the calm the attacker down button or the kindly ask the Unown-D to transport you away switch? While tempted to play martyr, an attack like that would just leave both of them with holes through their torso.

Without those options, the doctor picked the least confrontational option.

His Ditto seemed to enjoy the otome event quite a bit. Too much. And once more, Gaultier found himself faced with a new game of the otome. Just what had been going on? The bright cyan blob warbled as though saddened by its master taking the rotom phone from it. Gaultier glanced at the screen and scoffed. Avatarship? Highly unlikely. The game certainly had a knack for drawing people in that held fantasy above reality. Though with the options given, Gaultier chose the one that would be easiest on not only his character in the otome, but this Dionysus as well.
