Watching the Emboar go toe to toe was truly a sight to behold. Each held their own like proper wrestlers. While fire types certainly weren't his specialty, they could likely prove to be worthwhile to have in his not-too diverse arsenal. Flynt continued to watch as a few of them continued their relentless fight, and the only reason he intervened was when one of the Emboar stumbled back in his direction, to which he attempted to help it keep balance. (Unfortunately Flynt underestimated how heavy the creature would be and felt his arms buckle as he helped the poor creature. Thankfully the Emboar managed to steady itself before Flynt's arms snapped off.)

"You've got this!" he offered as he beamed with a sense of encouragement.

YOU CAN'T SEE ME. Sergei only dared to watch from afar as he observes the clash among emboar kins, hiding that they will not even catch his silhouette in the rugged landscape of the Jagged Pass. They are pretty much rare in the Unova where it is considered their native home so it is a delight to see a swarm gathering in another region like Hoenn. As the redhead hides behind the cliffs and stones, his attempt to try and catch one can never be a guaranteed, not with the creature's reputable strength.

He’d been circling the group of tussling emboar for a bit now—having paused in his own hike up the jagged pass for a routine workout. The whole lot looked formidable, but the shinx at Lam’s heels seemed particularly rambunctious and ready to spar with little sparks and WILD CHARGES. They’d probably flick the little guy away with no issue. Lam looked down at the feline, one brow lifted as he quoted none other than JOHN CENA. “Are you sure about that?”[break][break]

kyle isn't that big into wrestling, but that's all he can think about when he sees the group of emboar on jagged pass.

he had just been passing en route to something related to his job when the commotion catches his eyes. since he figured it'll just be a quick detour, he figured he could let the assignment wait for a minute or two.

kyle approaches them. upon closer inspection, they seemed to have so much fun playing with each other that it felt bad to break it up with a capture session. only when he saw someone else throw a ball did he instinctively follow.

such was the way of life on hoenn when swarms do happen.

The hoard of monsters continued to rage below, literal sparks and more flying as they engaged in brutal combat. Were they trying to crown a new alpha, or just sparring amongst themselves? Saki had no idea, but it was fun to watch, from safety like this. They were so focused on each other, none of them even noticed her. Then again, with all of them engaged in combat, none could spare the time to look up at the sky, save for those too exhausted to do anything about it.

"Oh, now that one looks like a prize, and weak too..." Crouching down, she pat the Metagross she was riding and pointed at the ground below. By adjusting the power of Magnet Rise, the pair swooped down like a bird of prey. The trainer took out a Pokeball, preparing to throw whilst talking to herself. "And what's this? By Arceus, it's Stone Cold Saki Shitachi with a steel spider!"

She sailed past, the wind whipping her hair as she glanced back over her shoulder at the results of her float-by catching. It looked like a success, but she hadn't thought about the consequences of her actions, not today. Now the problem was retrieving the ball. It had already been lost among the fighting monsters, and she'd had to pull away to avoid getting caught in it all. Well, she'd be able to find it once they all cleared out. If she was lucky, someone else wouldn't get to it first.

Supposedly, the hot springs on Mt. Chimney were some of the best in the region, surpassing even the gorgeous bathhouses of Petalburg City. Frank wanted to check them out himself — solo, at first, then perhaps he would bring Damien another time.[break][break]

As he traveled up the slope, the sounds of fighting caught his attention. Releasing his Malamar from her Pokéball for his own protection, he approached the source of the noise, curiosity overwhelming caution.[break][break]

What he found surprised him: several Emboar engaged in friendly WRESTLING matches, each trying to overcome the other. Amused, Frank turned to his Water-type.[break][break]

"Cause a little chaos, would you, Queenie?"[break][break]

The squid obeyed, attacking the Emboar with PSYCHO CUT and causing them to scatter. Frank threw a Pokéball at one of the retreating Pokémon, hoping to catch one.[break][break]

Kaz would be hesitant to call himself a Pro at wrestling he still had a little bit of experience with the sport. He recalled back the few months where he would take on challengers as a masked pro wrestler like Masked Royal (or Rey Mysterio) and had a decent streak for himself. Maybe he should dive back into it after seeing these Emboar's throw each other around. Just watching them was kind of stoking the fire inside of his gut to just get in there and join them himself. Which he was already doing as his feet carried him in between a pair that were about to lock up with one another.

They both looked at one another and at Kaz before turning around to reveal his incineroar mask and holding a pokeball as if it was some kind of mic. "Now I know you fellas don't think your both the top around here when this Incineroar is prowling these roads! How about I turn ya'll into some crispy bacon to remind of you of that fact!" Before there was a reaction Kaz was already throwing himself in a body slam against one of them while slamming a pokeball down on its head to try and catch it. Or in this case pin it?

Two emboar were locked in some form of wrestling match - pushing against each other, in what might be some sort of pecking order match. At the fringes of the field, a few tepig watched on in awe.

Makoto, meanwhile, watched from afar - palming an empty pokeball in their bag. They needed a strong fire-type that wasn't Ryuto, and the fact that an Emboar was also fighting-type would make for a plus, too... Perhaps, they could get one of these for themself...?

In retrospect, perhaps it hadn't been the best idea to hold a photoshoot atop Mt. Chimney, but Delilah's agent had claimed it would be "just spectacular!" to get some photos of Delilah wearing her new eyeshadow line somewhere "edgy"...well, clearly the woman had taken her concept a little too literally. Jagged rocks jutted out of the ground all around Delilah as she attempted to pose. It wasn't exactly comfortable.[break][break]
Someone screamed, and Delilah immediately got to her feet. One of the camera crew was hurrying away from...was one of the backdrops on fire? Delilah quickly released Astarte, concerned that something was about to attack them.[break][break]
Two Emboar rolled into sight, viciously locked in battle. Delilah hopped back, yelping in surprise. "Do something about this!" She snapped at her Ariados, feeling even more justified in her original pushback regarding the precarious photoshoot location.[break][break]
Astarte sent a TOXIC THREAD at both Emboar, hoping to ensnare the pair before they lit up all of Delilah's team's supplies. Restrained, they bellowed angrily. Delilah threw a Pokeball in hopes of catching at least one of them. It would be the easiest way to clear the area, she figured.[break][break]
