FROM THE GIANT CHASM/AREA ZERO, a swarm of IRON MOTH have fluttered in. Though they seem to be made out of futuristic metals, TOXIC CHAINS have infected these hovering solar panels.[break][break]

Some believe these Paradox Pokemon are scrying lenses for aliens or other dimensions. UFOs controlled remotely—perhaps by Megalopolans. However, those who have been to Ultra Megalopolis (or Lesser Megalopolis for that matter), would know that these creatures do not exist there.[break][break]

Regardless, these IRON MOTHS observe their targets before swooping at them. ACID SPRAY fires from their disembodied wings.

KOKOMI does her best to avoid the ACID SPRAY from the pursuing swarm of TOXIC CHAINED IRON MOTH. The PHIONE's TAKES HEART to endure the mechanical bugs whenever they do manage to strike her. But, eventually, their luck runs out anyway.[break][break]

Audric gasps when another swarm appears just ahead of them, spawning from a great forest in the GIANT CHASM. Without anywhere else to go, he steels his gaze and orders his Phione to tear through them with a MOONBLAST. When they emerge on the other side, the two are covered in PARADOX POKEMON FLUID as they make a hasty escape. "This is too much for me!"[break][break]

Another swarm....The last kind of swarm that he had dealt with were the Sharpedo anitbodies in Ultra Deep Sea with . However he understood what kind of pokemon this was since had one, and he had one as well courtesy of one . They were going to be annoying to deal with, but he had brought the perfect pokemon for him, and so he unleashed Glaedr his Tyrantrum. With a defiant roar rocks began to rip from the earth, and with an eerie green glow they began to launch themselves like torpedoes towards the Iron Moths, and one by one they would start to fall.

Getting on his comms he called out the others he was with.

" are you getting all this? These things are getting out of hand...." He explained to the Archeologist, and turned around to see if , or were around because if these things made it past them, their encampment would be overrun, and the grunts were basically worthless without direction.

TLDR
Ancient Power is used, and it can raise Special Defense! BOOM!

[attr="class","bisc"]There wasn’t a lot of grazing spots near the bakery. And, while he could totally just import hay or specialty food, he felt like a cow needed grass. So, when the grass got down to dirt, he’d take a short trip out of town. Sometimes he’d offer to cut the neighboring lawns for a few bucks. Either way, it was usually a pretty quiet trek. Biscotti would pull out a camping chair. The Camerupt would eat his fill while his trainer watched stupid YouTube videos.

But today was weird.

Moo didn’t want to step hoof in the typical clearing.

As he moved to take a seat, Biscotti felt his foot stick to something. “Huh?” Figuring it was gum—or droppings—the brunette could not fight back a groan. Lifting his flat tops, however, revealed purple goo. A bit of strange liquid was dabbled in there as well, orange like a, uh, well orange. For a second, he was almost stupid enough to sniff or taste it. But then he remembered when he’d seen it before. “Mochi. Where’d this—?” He heard a noise like wind chimes and turned to face its source.

It looked like a solar panel was trying to attack him. Probably knew he thought reusable bags were stupid. Paper totally existed. “Whoa. I’m guessing that’s why you—” The thing dove at the Camerupt. Its jets sprayed noxious, poisonous goop over them. “Hey! Moo! Don’t just stand there!” He rushed toward the bull. “Do something!”

Well, it did try. But he wasn’t sure staring blankly at the moth as its head emptied did the trick. Amnesia might be a coping thing, but it really didn’t make this any better. With a grumble, he tossed out another Pokemon.

It seems like even the future isn't safe from poison ... but truly, toxicity exists everywhere people go. It's almost like the call comes from within the house ... Fenelle has come as an observer to the phenomena, but it's hard not to become a target.

Dee quickly would try and stay far, far away, gesturing to der gang of Autism Creatures to do the very same. That's not a fight dee is particularly interested in nor worried about. Hey. Hey. Ralts. Stay with me, okay? Calm Mind, dee gets the attention of der Ralts, and signs a command for him. He seems to snap back into reality at that, using the attack to calm himself down and boost himself, too. Now, let's get out of here.

"Do you believe in aliens?" Sailor signs at their sibling as they finally join them, watching the Iron Moths infected with their Toxic Chains. Next to them, as always, is their Obstagoon but today they also have Weezing and Crobat. Their Crobat would be a new addition that Fen hadn't met yet and Sai liked surprising der.[break][break]
Sailor took out their phone and recorded some of the chaos, a record of what happened would be useful for their scientists or whoever to study -- right? One of the Iron Moths is injured by a trainer and Sai manages to get a good shot of the fluid that spills out of it. They wondered what it was...[break][break]
Then Fenelle mentioned leaving and Sai raised a brow, "You don't want to see how this turns out?" The spot they had picked seem pretty safe from the Iron Moths that flocked the trainers down below but Sai understood. They wouldn't be much use to anyone if they got hurt needlessly.[break][break]
They turned to follow their sibling, "Come on." Sai commanded their 'mons, heading out again.

Andrew looked up at an Iron Moth, as it loomed overhead. As it attempted to spray him down with Acid Spray, he quickly ran out of the way, barely escaping an ugly fate.

In response, Andrew sent out his Archeops, Screech.

"Yo Screech, give this fucker a taste of your Ancient Power!", Andrew ordered.

The Archeops focused, before lobbing a barrage of rocks at the futuristic Volcarona. The use of Ancient Power invigorated the Archeops, giving it a boost all around, including its Special Defense.

A horrible noise like a live wire in a storm, and the Iron Moth crumples before Lugia's might.[break][break]

The ground quakes beneath Cillian's feet as his patron lands behind him, tucking her great wings and keeping watch as he inspects the dead. Fluids leak from the still-sparking carcass, and Cillian retrieves a vial from his bag.[break][break]

Perhaps would like to use something like this in her studies.[break][break]

Let me know how it differs from the fluid of regular Iron Moth, he writes to her later, when he sends it along.

Sasha did not know how she'd ended up in a tropical jungle when she'd just been traveling through the Silent Icelands. One moment, she was hurrying through the snowy landscape—now thankfully devoid of horrific, frozen statues of Pokémon. Then she slipped and tumbled into this enormous crevasse, spraining her ankle. [break][break]

Blinking back tears from the pain, Sasha groped for a Pokéball at her belt. Opening it, she released her Milcery. "Can you help me out, please?" [break][break]

The small Pokémon released an AROMATIC MIST. Sasha felt bolstered, even though her ankle still throbbed. [break][break]

He took the full brunt of the ACID SPRAY before shoving the robotic Pokémon through the air with DARK PULSE. Then, seeing that his trainer was injured, he scooped her up in his arms and made a break for the nearest path upward. [break][break]

Jason had heard stories of strange, anachronistic creatures wandering around in the newly formed Chasm, but he mostly just thought the surly old sailor back in Sootopolis was exaggerating. But now, as he clung to the shimmering scales of the Dragonair he rode upon, Jason realized that the guy had probably left some important details out, if anything. Chief among them that some of these creatures included giant killer robot moths. [break][break]

“Yonah, to the left!” [break][break]

Jason held on for dear life as the Dragonair undulated to the side, narrowly dodging an acid spray that had been lobbed in their direction. Maybe it was just the speeds they reached as they hurtled through the air, or the sharp, twisting movements of his draconic steed, but Jason was beginning to feel a pervasive sickness blossom deep in his gut. [break][break]

The Iron Moth seemed to be gaining on them no matter how fast they went as they surged through the skies above the Giant Chasm. Jason muttered a bitter curse as he steered Yonah into a dive, winding down and to the right to ride parallel to one of the craggy walls of the canyon. She navigated through the rocky outcroppings with ease, slipping and ducking through narrow openings while Jason held on with an iron grip. [break][break]

He only vaguely registered the metallic clanging and snapping behind him, the scent of gasoline and frayed wires and sparks as they slipped through a narrow pass between two jagged columns of rock. There was an explosion, a splash of something corrosive and foul on his second favorite jacket, but Jason didn't bother to look back to determine whether the creature had actually been bested. They just needed to keep running, like they always did, and things would find a way to work themselves out in the end.

Hideo already knew Legendaries could get infected by Toxic Chains after Latias - and now he got to find out that Paradoxes could be infected too. Even the robot-y ones.

Were there any Pokemon that were immune to these chains? He wasn't eager to test and find out. Besides, he had to spend his time on helping contain the current infected.

His Dragonite placed a Safeguard around itself and Hideo's Zeraora, the latter Charging itself up before leaping into the fray, eager to pit its strength against the many Pokemon flying around them.

And pit its strength it did - one solid smack from its Plasma Fists knocked down one of the chained Iron Moths, a strange liquid dripping out of the injured machine.

- attack/defend against the IRON MOTHS.
- use a SPECIAL DEFENSE STAT RAISING MOVE (Charge) Note: Already at 20+ mochi
- involve PARADOX POKEMON FLUID that spills out of killed or injured IRON MOTHS.

On the way back from the Zero Lab at the bottom of Area Zero, Shalin was prancing about the trail back to the surface, Midori's LED eyes cheerful as could be. The Captain hollered like a girl on a wild carnival ride as the nimble paradox made a twirling jump. As she rounded a corner, the paradox shielded her from a sudden barrage of ACID SPRAY. It was far too large to come from one Pokémon. By the time she could discern just how many there were, Shalin and Midori were surrounded by an entire swarm of IRON MOTH.

Not wanting to expose her prized grass-type to their potential Bug Buzzing, the girl withdrew the Iron Leaves for her Flygon and Kommo-o. The dragon had recently learned a new and devastating technique that would push her bond with her Flygon to its limits. She wanted to simply observe the technique at first, but the encroaching swarm forced her to saddle up for her wildest ride yet.

Treble's scales glowed a deep purple-gold color, his scales echoing as his CLANGOROUS SOUL reached a fever pitch. The BOOMBURST that followed sounded like the impact of a meteor, launching the poison-types surrounding her in all directions. When the brief battle was over, the Kommo-o found himself at the bottom of a small, vomit-filled crater, standing a small distance from her hyperventilating Flygon.

Had the wild child found her suit's limits?

He sighed, because—whoa, holy shit, what were those robot-looking things doing out here?!

He was quick to the draw; already accompanied by his Gardevoir who was now assessing the situation and—

His Absol had appeared a few moments later snarling as she swing her horn around in a defensive Night Slash as one of the metallic-looking… they kind of resembled Volcarona, but not quite so came screaming down their way—before the Gardevoir, literal essence of serenity—

Spread out her arms and used Calm Mind; the warm, suffusing energy dispersing around the three of them.

“Thanks, Emm,” he would hum quietly as he looked around; trying to make heads or tails of what the strange robotic-like Volcarona were doing, just swinging and attacking everything in sight!

"We did it! Their Toxic Chains are gone! Past Paradox Pokémon are the best!" The young PokéManiac rejoiced as the mechanical insects started retreating. She gave Mothman a big, celebratory hug, becoming engulfed in the Slither Wing's white floof.
