Was it worth getting excited at her success of practicing the trick? She'd landed a good couple now, and Yuina was thrilled at being able to accomplish one of the more intermediate maneuvers. She wondered... If maybe she should give one of the harder tricks a try... But her success was only standing because she was 'playing it safe'.[break]
The mantine she worked with was really doing great work for her though, maybe if she could land a couple more of the Primarina Twists, really feel like she had that one down, she might work on one of the other tricks to practice.

She had little to lose at this point. She had spent the first half of the competition failing her twists. It was more shameful to lose trying easy tricks than it was to try the hardest. Her decision was made for her, really. So long as she didn't drown, she had time to keep attempting the splash. Eventually, she would have to be successful... right?
