Attracted to the special magnetic field, these dragons siphon electricity from their surroundings in order to rejuvenate themselves. Others dig through the nearby earth, searching for food as rubble clatters across their strong, durable bodies. Perhaps you will be able to capture one yourself![break][break]

• the highest roll will earn a SHINY ARCHALUDON with the STEEL TERA-TYPE; the second highest roll will earn a REGULAR ARCHALUDON, the second lowest roll will net a REGULAR DURALUDON, and the lowest roll will net a SHINY DURALUDON. the gender of the pokemon can be decided by the recipient.

kasper still wasn't really sure how to handle shadow pokemon. or a shadow pokemon, if they were being honest. their pokemon-rtraining skills were maybe not up to par in comparison, and the aggression of the dog pokemon only made things worse.

so maybe this was a mistake. but they had decided there was nothing better than trying to forge a bond (bridge) with the shadow pokemon. and what better to do that than to bring him with them?

except....yeah. they hadn't expected this many people (more than one), and the lycanroc stayed where he was in his pokeball. since they were here, though, they may as well try to catch something.

Thomas spotted the group of Duraludon and Archaludon feeding off of the environment around them. Seeing an opportunity to gain one of the bridge-like dragons for himself, whether directly or through raising one of of the 'younger' ones, Thomas grabbed a vacant Pokeball. Before he could be driven off, Thomas quickly tossed a Pokeball towards one of them, hoping the capture would stick.

Aaron was already near New Mauville when news of the swarm happened. And he could certainly make use of a steel/dragon type in his team. Especially a special attacker, traditionally. And so off the teenager went. Looking at the Archaludon, he couldn't help but think that they look like Skyarrow Bridge in Unova. He'd never been there before, he'd only lived in Johto and Hoenn. But he'd seen pictures, and the bridge was absolutely beautiful. With his Steelix in tow, it was time to take them on. Maybe he'd get lucky and catch either Pokemon. He'd gladly take them.

Elise sees the swarm of Duraludon and Archaludon when she and her Pokemon arrive to New Mauville. Since New Mauville was a place that made sense to be the home to the steel dragons, her Illumina Skitty watches the swarm go about and doing their business. The Calyrex shard watches over the baby kitten as if he was acting as her big brother, not as the king. [break][break]

In a way, Elise almost thinks that the two of them could bond with each other over being younger members of her team.[break][break]

The ambassador remembers seeing a Golden Gate Bridge in her storybooks, the one that talks about a foreign country. When one of the dragons come close, Charles is quick to shoot out a Burning Jealousy at them. He tries to protect his younger ‘sibling’ while Elise throws one of her Dusk Balls to catch one of the swarming dragons.[break][break]

Montgomery remembered encountering his first one, the dragon bringing back memories of the driftveil drawbridge back home. It had sturdy pillars at its side, strong enough to ensure the safety of those crossing.

Not to mention the way they towered nearly everyone.

Nearly.

So as he came across a large swath of these creatures in New Mauville, he decided to test his luck. With a flick of his wrist, a Poke ball was thrown forward, aiming to capture the metallic beast.

London Bridge was on the move, it seemed - and so were a lot of other bridges. The Archaludon swarm had caught Makoto off guard, considering that they'd been investigating New Mauville as of late - but safe to say, they weren't necessarily complaining about the arrival of such beasts.

Instead, with Koseki at their side, they would observe from afar - prepared to see if the opportunity to catch one of these steely dragons would crop up.

it's a strange pokemon, surely. it more closely resembles that of skyarrow bridge, a man-made marvel, than anything created naturally. it's certainly not the first pokemon to do so, but it's a wonder how it came to be such; was it coincidence, or by design? those sort of questions are best left for pokemon professors, so maki doesn't dwell upon it for long. she hovers around the main mass of the swarm for a bit, observing them, until she sees one break away from the group.[break][break]

she follows it through the winding corridors of new mauvile, at a distance, so as not to alert it. once she's certain they're far enough away, she calls upon her gallade to break it. one swords dance and sacred sword later, and she's defeated it. it will come of some use, she's certain, even if it isn't with her own hands.[break][break]

Archa- and Duraludons do remind Fenelle of the Skyarrow Bridge, even if dee has only been to visit it a couple of times to study for der current identity. Fenelle Miller, after all, is an Unovan native, and even if one could avoid this famous bridge ... it's hard to, really, if you also didn't live behind a rock your entire life.

Dee actually has quite some fond memories of that bridge as dee regards the gathered steel type pokémon ... it's not often that dee seeks out swarms like this, but maybe ... one of them could tag along.

"So that's an Archaludon... wow." It was the first time she'd laid eyes upon the bridge-shaped pokémon. A marvelous creature, no doubt. Even here, far away from their original habitat -according to the rumors- they still stood proud and unyielding. They reminded her of her home. Of the Tubeline Bridge she'd used to gawk at as a child whenever her family visited Opelucid City.

How she'd loved those outings. Missed them, knowing the chances of being allowed to return were nihil. Maybe she could try catching one of the Archaludon, or Duraludon? If not from this swarm, then perhaps elsewhere.

Having traveled all over with the circus, Marvie has seen a great deal of bridges in her lifetime. She's performed atop some of them, too. That being said, no bridge or skyscraper comes close to Archaludon's greatness. Not even the famous Skyarrow Bridge, which is maybe the longest one in the world, can rival the Alloy Pokémon as far as she's concerned.
