Or else. Tolerance and patience only lasted so long in Barnaby's ROCKET.[break][break]

"Why indeed. Perhaps because it was absent from Galar?" A logical deflection, and one that didn't require a lengthy inspection. The conversation moved on.[break][break]

Unfortunately, not to anything more pleasant.[break][break]

Machinations of lost lovers appeared all around — reminders of an era best suppressed. Here, in Motostoke, had no ROCKET to ground him. It had been a terrible, languishing time.[break][break]

His knife tasted blood, but it was hungry for more.[break][break]

While Navy shifted around after being cut, his movement slowed because of the injury to his thigh, Barnaby continued to sidestep until he saw an opening.[break][break]

Surging forward, the ROCKET admin plunged the blade of his knife into the broadside of his opponent's back, between backbone and scapula. At this angle and with this amount of force, would likely have to endure a fractured rib or two at best, perhaps even a collapsed or punctured lung, at worst.[break][break]

It was a quick move — fast, but devastating. The knife was in and out in seconds, with Barnaby backing off to try and avoid retaliation with the gym leader's own knife.[break][break]

Meanwhile, their Pokémons' battle was beginning to reach a conclusion. Shuwen's Z-MOVE tipped the scales; the impact of its punches combined with their draining power sent the TANGROWTH sprawling over the ship's bent railing. The massive creature landed with a dense thud! onto the deck, knocked out.

As you ventured off to Hoenn, ready for a fresh start, you promised yourself that you wouldn't squander all the sacrifices he'd made that allowed you to follow your passions. There was good work to be done here, in this new region — much more than you ever realized.[break][break]

Because, unbeknownst to you, your universe has been influenced by the anomalous push of another. Continuous and consistent events within Universe 820 has caused things in your dimension to be ever-so slightly off kilter. [break][break]

You aren't really even aware of it at first. Your initial year in Hoenn is spent settling into your new role, making connections within the industry, getting to know the people and culture of the region. But as time passes, you begin to notice small things.[break][break]

Odd happenings throughout Hoenn start to crop up. Most wouldn't have realized the uptick in frequency, but it's your job to report on the goings-on around the region. Environmental disasters, disturbed swarms of Pokémon, rampant crime, unexplained phenomena. [break][break]

When compared with historical numbers, all of this combined together was unprecedented. And catastrophic.[break][break]

Howard was right, their objective was never to defeat the LEAGUE. Not here, not now. To do that, they'd need more — knowledge, power, numbers. Perhaps what was hidden beneath them could offer such a boon.[break][break]

As for why the island was appearing now, of all times? [break][break]

Hoenn was the Origin Point — inexplicable events had been occurring here for several years now, tied to various entities but inevitably for the same reason. Perhaps was becoming jaded to it all, but the why had begun to matter less than the how.[break][break]

"You make a good point." The admin admitted before signaling for HOUNDOOM to assist against the IRON HANDS. She lunged forward and unleashed a broiling, insufferable INFERNO upon the legion of Paradox Pokémon.[break][break]

Just from their brief interaction, had to admit that Greyson wasn't half bad himself. The man was all roiling muscle, taut and firm between the admin's legs.[break][break]
