Pearls were an ideal gift for someone obsessed with the ocean, or at least that's what Adrian believed. Whether or not Rowan would appreciate it, he'd been building up a collection of Clamperl in his spare time, and this opportunity suited him well enough. Close to home, and there was promise of other rewards sunken to the bottom of the coastal waters.[break][break]

Blowing air through his rebreather periodically, Adrian can feel the ocean cooling him down over time. Despite the efficacy of his wet suit, his time down here was limited. Better find something soon. There was no time to be picky.[break][break]

Cade takes off his shirt, and his DEWGONG, EMILEO, claps its fin excitedly in the water below. They're at the beach pier at the SLATEPORT SPLASHFEST. Today they're going to try their luck at CLAMPERL DIVING.

He'd taken dives before, of course. The beaches of his homeland were quite popular around the world. So, when he finally takes his leap, he enters the glimmering ocean below rather gracefully. Bubbles drift upward as he kicks his feet and dives downward, grabbing his Dewgong's horn as it tows him along even faster.

After everything that'd been going on, the Slateport Splashfest was just what Derek needed to unwind. In fear of what may happen to them, he'd been leaving Jonesy at home, reluctant to find out what may happen to the Sobble if he brought it to such dangerous places like Sootopolis, et cetera.

But now they were able to dive freely, Jonesy escorting Derek in search of the little prizes waiting for them. It was fun watching the water type bravely swim into the deep, as it was something he normally strayed far from.

When they finally found something shimmering at them from the bottom, Jonesy retrieved it for Derek before bringing them up to the surface...

When the League had asked for POG Bank to be one of the Splashfest’s sponsors, Mars had gladly agreed, and the fact that out of all activities they’d be in charge of the Clamperl Diving seems auspicious indeed. After all, diving has always been Mars’ favourite hobby, and when going to the designated spot and readying his gear, the banker can’t help but find himself smiling.

on hindsight, the only real time he finds actual use with his phione is when he needs to dive in deep waters. that, and maybe playdates with Melody Miro's own phione.

the latter wasn't the case now though. he's sure melody has found a new playmate for her phione by now. besides, maybe they can play when they get home at the end of the day instead.

for now, kyle and his phione gets ready to dive the waters for some clamperls.

It figures that the SPLASHFEST centers around the fucking ocean.

Still, the Clamperl diving did afford practice for the dive he was expected to perform during the wedding to Tempest Quinn, so he begrudgingly gets into the water with all the rest. He'd feel more comfortable with Lugia nearby, but he's had to resort to a disguise thanks to the concentrated League presence. Thank Arceus for waterproof dyes.

He curls his arm around his SHADOW DHELMISE, and the accursed creature begins a rapid descent.

With the little cooling event going on in diving under water Razz gives Salem a mouth piece to breath with before he gets his own. After he would call out his Illumina Feebas to see if she couldn't help give aide to see in the dark. He knows he hears comments of her being uglier than a regular Feebas but he was never going to judge. [break][break]
