THE FINER DETAILS
Ever Grande City's gym is an expansive art museum nestled on a private island. A ferry carries challengers and visitors to its Poke Ball embellished entrance frequently.[break][break]

The gym acts as an art gala while no challenges are underway, showcasing a vast array of artwork drawn by Xander and other renowned artists from across Hoenn. Portraits of victorious challengers alongside their Pokemon line a wing of the museum, painted exclusively by Xander. [break][break]
There are several of these wings found throughout the establishment, each dedicated to various styles of art. Aside from the Hall of Fame, the most prominent is the Challenger's Gala, where large murals depicting fantastical scenes act as doorways to other worlds and arenas.[break][break]

All challengers need to do is take the leap.

The gym is a monument to the creative arts. Only fitting that the value it wishes to impart upon aspiring trainers is to be unafraid to express themselves.

There are two options available for traditional battles:[break][break]
- 1 v 1 Single
- 2 v 2 Doubles

The rules for both are as follows:[break][break]
- No Destiny Bond & Perish Song
- Non-Legends Only (Subject to Change)
[break] NON-TRADITIONAL
Non-Traditional challenges have trainers selecting a painting from the Challenger's Gala and completing specific objectives associated with the chosen mural. The areas for which can be found behind the artwork. [break][break]
Unless otherwise stated in the description, challengers can only use 1 Pokemon.
[break] CHALLENGER'S GALA Solemn Gathering

Fire-types sporting stoic faces gather atop a scorching mountain. Under a sky blackened by volcanic ash, they begin an ancient rite. A clash of fire and will, heat and passion. The one whose flame burns the strongest will stand above the rest, earning themselves the right to bathe in the magma cauldron at the mountain's center. An honor fit only for the king of the volcano. Bathed in the golden light of the sun, a large Volcarona towers above a trainer and their Pokemon. Around them, massive pillars of stone embellished with archaic and crude drawings reach for the heavens. The only way forward is past the ancient deity, and it refuses to move. [break][break]

A warrior clad in black armor with a flaming cloak howls madly at the sun. His iron helm bears the sharp teeth of a wild beast. Littered on the scorched earth around him are the shattered Poke Balls of his foes. "Come back to me, oh holy goddess." he bellows, "Why have you left me to smolder?" [break][break]

In the middle of a war-torn and scarred badland, Lucario faces off against a hoard of dragons, alone. His draconic foes swarm the blacken sky, circling him like a predator does its prey. Though riddled with scars, he holds a bone club of vibrant light tightly in his grasp, a defiant flame burning in his eyes. [break][break]
