Shalin wasn't giving up quite yet. While the Surfing contest was to end in just a few short days, she felt committed to the MAGIKARP SPLASH. While she again could not get the Mantine she had become accustomed to due to the very high volume of competitors trying to get in some last-minute tricks, most of them felt largely the same. She cast off and braced herself for the flailing motion to come with the precise maueuver.
