Another day, another bruise. At this point Noah had grown numb to it, coming back over and over again to the Mantine Surf had become a daily thing almost like work but somehow work was much more pleasurable to him, at least he did well at both his jobs, unlike with the Mantine Surf.[break][break]

Looking back at the Mantine who he had spent all this time with and the other available ones really did make Noah want to swap but he didn't have the heart to do it, they had been through a lot together, through a lot of failures but it was still a lot. He didn't want to move on, he was to finally succeed he would do it with the one that had been by his side! Like many the many passing days he would take to the sea with the pokemon. Spins would come and spins would go, flips and spins. He had the movement all written down but all he had to do was succeed in landing that MAGIKARP SPLASH.[break][break]

For once, Josh was able to relax. His next race wasn't until September, he had no impending Ranger assignments, and more importantly, no commitments. He spent a chunk of the afternoon at Round One in Slateport Mall, having a great time smashing arrows and drawing in a good-sized crowd only days after the place updated their Step Step Revolution cabinet to the latest version.

After leaving the session quite sweaty, he returned to where the festival grounds had the Mantine corraled, set off toward the waves, and put his slightly refined execution of the STARMIE 720 to the test.

Shalin, likewise, had a surprisingly light day, planning to spend much of her afternoon at Round One in Slateport Mall. Unfortunately she had to take an early exit from the dance game hall, pulling a muscle after an extremely fast series of twists. CHALLENGE 18s were no joke, whether she was dancing or surfing.

Once she was feeling better, she headed down to the festival to make the rounds. Her first stop was another attempt at the setup for the whirling STARMIE 720. If she could pull this off, she would be moving on to truly expert-level tricks.

"alright lets try for something simple but stylish, c'mon!" kaz called out to his partner as the two of them rode up the wave that was approaching them. he had never gotten a chance to surf some mantine so he was glad that he finally got his butt down to try this before it was too late. he might not be able to show anyone up but he could at least prove to himself that he could still pull off some style. so as they rode the wave they reached the apex of it and jumped off to try and do a lanturn 360 and show what an elite four member was capable of.
