Asher slipped in the water with his golden Magikarp again. So much for a bloody precious artifact...that was just an empty pokeball. Hopefully this dive will be better. This time, he went over towards the docks. Maybe he would have more of a chance to find something valueable over there.

Though Josh was done surfing with the Mantine, he tracked down the one that helped him perform the Magikarp Splash and gave it a treat before packing his fishing supplies on his Dragonair. The two swam to the cove near Slateport Barrier Reef, dropping his pole off at his secret fishing spot before going diving. Not wanting to spend any more time beneath the waves than he needed to, he unearthed the first shiny object that grabbed his attention.

Shalin's Milotic was in a great mood, eager to pick her up after surfing with the Mantine. After letting his trainer mount up, he started leaping out of the water repeatedly, showcasing the breathtaking jumps that would wow any Contest judge. Once he was done showing off, he took his trainer to the sea bed that held the barrier reef, the two weaving around the coral maze to find anything she could bring to the surface.

It was a thought unspoken (obviously, lest he start to drown) as he bore witness to a familiar, dual-colored sphere before long. To some extent, he found it a bit concerning to think about just how many capsules had been so haphazardly tossed into the ocean—even if it had been for the sake of the festivities—but nevertheless, it had its uses.[break][break]

After having borne witness to various items of note within past experiences, and after having dealt with numerous sorts of items to be smuggled here and there, there had at least been a hunch in his mind— but the fact of the matter had been that his own expertise was a bit lacking to be sure. A low hum escaped his lips (although muffled for obvious reasons) before he simply opted to slip the shard away.[break][break]

she felt dwindling interest in clamperl diving after finding what she'd initially come in search of. however, the remaining possibility of finding a mega stone compelled her to visit one more time as the festival neared its end.

she dove in, swimming down towards the shallow floor to scan the sand. eventually, the first thing stuck out, and she reached for it.
