He'd gotten so close the day before, but someone snatched it before his very eyes. Just a few moments earlier, and it would've been his, and Rowan's by proxy. But instead he was left sifting through the deep ocean bed once more, hoping to find that pearl gold.[break][break]

If nothing else, it helped him grow comfortable with the exploration of deep, open water. He'd still send out Furor or another pokemon to scout for danger before it got anywhere near him, but it was the sort of phobic response to the ocean in general that he was beginning to grow a tolerance for. All of that would be eradicated with one bad incident, though.[break][break]

Hopefully that doesn't happen.[break][break]

CLAMPERL DIVING

His collection of items on the beach almost reminds him of being a kid, collecting colorful rocks on the poor excuse for a beach near Circhester. It was cold, the sand was hard, and the waters were frigid and choppy, but that hadn't stopped him from trying to build sandcastles in the softer sands of the tide.

There aren't many fond memories of Galar, but this one brings the ghost of a smile to his lips before he turns to get back into the water for another dive.
