Serena's whiskers rattled as she slinked toward the back of the building housing the largest apparel retailer in Slateport City, the saddle-wearing Persian's eyes beading as she demanded employees' attention. Some of them looked at the normal-type quizzically. First, what was this Pokémon's trainer feeding her for her to grow so big, and second, who would put a saddle on a Persian? Felines were notorious for being awful mounts, but especially Persian. Not only were they some of the most fickle felines that were commonly raised, but their backs flexed more than most cats did.

The first hat that was presented to Serena was in the form of a fist akin to the Tera Crown of a fighting-type. She batted the hat away with her paw, her claws retracted. Though she was picky, she was respectful of others, and knew not to damage others' properly! She did likewise with one depicting a snowflake, a purple skull-and-crossbones, and a dragon's head. Meowing, she raised a paw toward one shaped like a translucent gem.

Looking at herself in a mirror after the young employee put the hat on her head, the cat stood as tall as she could on all fours. She closed her eyes and posed for the store to take a photo before shaking the hat loose and browsing others that piqued her interest.

norman the minior, once known as neo the minior before ~~wizz~~ francie decided that norman fit him much better, gave a twirl and a happy chime while swirling around happily near the hats.[break][break]

each one a rep would pick up, norman would swoop under it and be inside the hat until it got to its rightful owner.[break][break]

hat after hat, annoyed rep after annoyed rep, finally the black minior with rainbow stardust glittering through it's frame, was called by a rep.[break][break]

excitement showed itself in burst of starlight. small pulses rang through the air as norman's swirling eyes went double time. he finally was settled with a bucket hat, cute little decorations like rainbows and glitter adorned it.[break][break]

sure, it's a kid's hat, but norman the minior was in love with it regardless.

As soon as pink haired coordinator heard that some local fashion designers needed help modeling new tera theme hats, she knew this was good practice for her jynx. And honestly, the jynx didn’t mind. Hand rose, flicking her long white blonde hair back as the designer assist adjusted the hat on her head. Lightly twisting her waist back and forth to her beautiful vibrate pink dress would move. The assist grunted, moving the fairy tera type themed hat slightly. The jynx gaze shifted to the human, eye wide in hopes she didn’t mess it up.

And before she knew it, it was her time to shine. The humans rushed for towards the cat walk, doing last finishing touches before ushering her down. The lights fell upon her nearly blinding the shiny jynx as she took her first step onto the long stage. Screams of awes of delight filled the room, boosting the ice and psychic types confidence. Strutting her stuff, the creature strolled down the walk way with the beautiful fairy type themed hat on her head. It complimented her dress so well, both shimmering in the lime light.

Once at the end of the walk way, the shiny jynx posed like the assents told her too. Again, being nearly blinded by the flashes of lights from camera before she turned to walk back. She continued to make her way back until she reached the end of the stage. Exhilaration filled her, moving off to the side to admire other tera theme hats as they too showed off their looks.

It’s not everyday you get to put on fancy hats and get paid for it! Toshiaki is stoked, even if it’s just watching his beloved Pokemon have a good time over himself. Whimscott jitters happily in place, entertained by the large selection of headwear available to him to try. Helmets, fedoras, baseball caps. The possibilities are endless![break][break]

The day is full of flash photography and flashy poses to show off the product at hand. And at the end of the day on top of all the praise from employees and trainer alike, Toshiaki treats his friend to ice cream to finish their eventful day.

Slateport City’s apparel retailer wanted Pokemon that were able to try on hats for a photography shoot, so the Galarian royal dropped off Zorro the Meowscarada for him to try on any of the hats and see if anything piqued the grass type feline’s interest. Opening the door to the store, he would be greeted by the many reps with cameras where the Meowscarada was directed to a display of many, many hats of different types, shapes, and colors. [break][break]

The first hat that the feline tried on was a green fedora which fit his size, but he didn’t like it much. Trying on the second hat which was a baseball cap, he had taken it off quickly to put on the third hat of his choosing from the rack, a black and purple jester’s hat which perfectly fit his magician motif. [break][break]

With the day going well over flash photography of the Meowscarada in his black and purple jester’s hat doing the poses and looking flashy, he actually liked the hat and wanted to buy it for himself where he found Elise coming into the store after doing a bit of shopping to get her to purchase it for him. She would treat her Meowscarada for some Johtonian dessert afterwards.[break][break]

With his new hat on his head, Zorro began to meow contentedly at his latest buy.

RADAGAST the APPLETUN is escorted into the hat shop by Remiel Calcifet then left in the capable hands of the attendants there promptly afterward. The gentle beast behaves extremely well in their care. The bundle of golden hay they'd prepared prior to its arrival perhaps had something to do with that.

Nevertheless, Radagast makes for a very cooperative model. It isn't until one of the worker's rampant children yanks a piece of his pie off his back that the Appletun is startled. The act causes its eyes to jolt upward in a flash, casting the apple cap and the newsboy cap they'd placed on it upward.

In the end, however, everyone gets a good laugh out of it. The child, on the other hand, is promptly scolded afterward.

Astarte was a picky Pokémon, prone to a temperamental disposition. It wasn't exactly her fault: she'd been pampered all her life. All the same, she was a particularly difficult aracnid to appease, which the owners of the hat store had not necessarily been prepared for when they'd jumped at the opportunity to feature Delilah Silph's Pokémon in their new TERA CROWNS: Terastallize your fashion marketing campaign.[break][break]
"This is the last one," The manager of the store said nervously, bringing out a simple, if elegant, amethyst-encrusted crown. He placed it delicately onto the Ariados's head. She tilted her head side-to-side, staring at herself in the mirror. Several long moments passed; everyone in the shop held their breath.[break][break]
She clicked approvingly. A collective cheer went up and the manager scrambled to grab their photographer, dragging her over. "And now for the photoshoot! He declared, tone betraying both his relief and his exhaustion.[break][break]
Astarte merely huffed: what had they expected? Delilah had taught her to only settle for perfection, and nothing less.

It was rare that Josh asked his own Raichu to take a PokeJob, but the Trainer himself wasn't too far behind. Modelling hats was pretty tame, but for a Pokemon like Lightning, it meant that their cuteness had a use for once. Several hats were tried, however, and the Raichu didn't seem too thrilled with many of them. At least, until they tried a cute little bowler hat alongside the Raichu's bandana. The combination put together got out a cheerful chirp from the Raichu, and they were able to model it as asked.

They were even allowed to keep that hat, since they hoped the pictures would sell many more. Maybe they could use this at a Contest sometime?
