There are infinite worlds in the multiverse. Surely, in at least one (that will never, ever appear on site except maybe on April Fools Day), this place is a Digmon site instead of a Pokemon. In that hypothetical world, what would your character's partner Digimon be?

My knowledge of the franchise is extremely surface-level, but for what it's worth, I spent like an hour going through the wiki because I just got completely sucked into that particular rabbit hole lol


Botamon → Lopmon → Andiramon (Deva)



I don't know if he'd competent enough to Digivolve his partner further, but if so, the end result would be Cherubimon (idk which version tho, that would kinda depend on whatever his character arc would be in this hypothetical RP)


Gabumon → Garurumon → Weregarurumon → Metal Garurumon → Ancient Garurumon



In hindsight, I think this is both a very basic bitch answer and a very "wannabe protagonist" answer, but fuck it, wolves are cool as hell and you can't change my mind. Plus, I assume that in a hypothetical Digimon RP, evolutions could potentially be tied to character development milestones, so why not have a lengthy evo line for my main?

Elise's partner is a Ghostmon that ends in a partner line of Ghostmon > Bakemon > Blossomon > Rafflesimon. Rafflesimon's design is very aesthetic for her cause she's a queen. (Elise is kind of a queen in training though)
