Hideo had just wanted to get an electric kettle for his Gym, so he could heat up water for tea or hot cocoa. He'd already picked one out, walking over to the register right as the swarm of Rotoms came in.

One had the audacity to fly right into the kettle he was planning to buy, floating around and snickering at him, the top of the kettle opening and closing as if it were laughing at him

His Hatterene was less than amused by that Rotom's antics. A quick Psychic pulled the Rotom out of the kettle, right into the Hatterene's head-hand, where she could more appropriately display her feelings about this inconvenience.

It left Hideo to awkwardly stand there, waiting for his Hatterene to finish as he held the dispossessed kettle. "I hope that didn't break the kettle…"

Given his previous LG television had given out, he was forced to go shopping for a new one. Little did he realize that he'd wandered into the chaos of a swarm of technology-hungry terrors. Schuyler felt himself grimace a bit at the way some of the electronics had seen better days. But he supposed that happened when wild pokemon were on the loose. While the displays were worse for wear, the actual product on the shelves seemed to be just fine. However when he went to pick one of the boxes up, his hand slipped into the handle and grazed the outer part of the television within and felt a shock run through his body. In response, he dropped the box and heard a loud crack as it hit the tiled floors below. The distorted snicker of the Rotom that had managed to sneak in reverberated as it slipped its way out of the box once more.

A defeated sigh as he pulled out his wallet. He broke it, so it was on him to pay for it.

"I'll show 'em. I won't lose to another smart television!" Howard said as he peeked out from behind a pile of toaster ovens. He had ordered a new television recently, and was excited to watch all the new shows that came with the package. The cons: he had to buy it from the Lilycove Department Store, and it was 'while supplies lasted'

Well, the latter wouldn't be an issue anymore! Nobody was buying these piece of shit appliances, because it turns out that they're all sentient. So instead of chillaxing and watching television, he was fighting against Tim the Terrible Television, and that television must've learned what happened at Tempest Quinn and Cillian Quinn 's place, because it was especially interested in getting his credit card number.

"Alright, you bastards..." Howard grunted as he stepped out into the open. "Let's boogie!"

Then, all the appliances grew eyes and grinned at him. "Uh oh."

You are definitely here in the Lilycove Department Store to catch a Rotom. Yes, that's right, you're here to help exorcise the swarm of ghosts that are wreaking havoc in the city. You are definitely not using all of this chaos as an excuse to shoplift a Stayplation 5 because you want to play Spidopsman 2.

You idly walk down the electronics aisle, glancing about as washing machines and oscillating fans float about overhead. This is so easy, you're almost tempted to swipe a Nontendi Switch too, but you're not going to get that greedy. After all, the Nontendi Switch has no games! What are you even going to play on it? Pikimin 4?

...Alright, you might swipe a Nontendi Switch, too. Hell, you may as well smuggle out a B-Xox Series B while you're at it and complete the trilogy. And y'know what? Fuck it, why not grab one of these Rotom, too? After all, you'll need help to discreetly carry all those consoles out of here, and judging by how effortlessly they're zipping and zapping around, they'll make for a perfect accomplice for this, the perfect crime. You pause for a moment to marvel at your own scheme, to admire this, the heist of the century. The police will tell stories of this unsolvable crime for years to come. The workers in this store will forever remember "The Day Some Guy Stole Three Video Game Consoles And Cost Us, Like, A Thousand Bucks, Maybe".

Now that you've imagined it, you just need to pull it off. So, step one: Catch a Rotom!

Rotoms; the bane of anyone who owned a general electric appliance. Which was to say, a lot of people! And a good punch wasn't going to chase them away - unless they are already hanging out in an appliance, that is.

Makoto was curious about seeing if they couldn't get one for themself - and perhaps, bringing some of the chaos under control. Maybe they could take one by surprise, and snatch up the appliance it's in before it even knows what's going on...?

It was the sudden commotion what caught the pink haired girl to the department store, her curiosity pushing her pass the swarm of panicked people fleeing the scene. Shouts and screams of erupted from everywhere, something along the lines of rotoms and taking over name brand appliance like LG and Samsung.

If Ely wasn’t careful, she was going to get trampled on. But as soon as she got close enough to see what was happenings, the sight of a pink rotorm made her stay. “OMG ITS SO CUTE” she shrilled, blue eyes wide, “I WANT IT!” Reaching into her pocket, the woman launched a random ball into the air and aimed it at the shiny ones.
