RULES ARE COOL

Courier Carnage is a RAID STYLE EVENT, taking place at a Slateport Christmas Market as the characters and their Pokemon try to overcome rogue Iron Bundles. As of such, the event can be presumed to take place in December, after all current events. Players will be grouped together by thread, and must work together to overcome the obstacles presented to them, using d100 dice rolls to determine degrees of success and failure. [break][break]

The tone of the event is LIGHTHEARTED AND COMEDIC. It’s intended to be a bit of silly festive fun. Participants will be subjected to goofs and pranks, often against the will of the characters involved. Simply put, the shenanigans are inseparable from the premise of the event. If you, or your character, are not fine with this tone, then please do not sign up. Likewise, please do not attempt to bring heavy themes or serious subject matter into the thread. It’s a funky little silly time, not a life-or-death conflict that will decide the fate of Hoenn. In this same vein, Salac Berries, while not banned, are HIGHLY discouraged.[break][break]

The pace of the event is BRISK. Participants will be given four day deadlines, and the event is expected to run for five to seven posts, ending before Christmas proper. To ensure this pace is maintained, posts will be made shortly after deadlines, and extensions won’t be given except in the most severe cases. Missing multiple rounds will result in being ejected from the event. [break][break]

The threat level of this event is SLAPSTICK ENABLED. There’s violence, but the tone leans more towards Three Stooges than Game of Thrones. The spectacle is exaggerated, the lasting injury is minimised, and when considering how mechanics and effects interact, comedy generally takes priority over accuracy. A Hyper Beam will hurt like hell, but it won’t kill you. The “Burn” status effect is more likely to set you on fire than melt your flesh.[break][break]

Participants will be separated into three groups of five, for FIFTEEN TOTAL, chosen from the sign-ups through a random roll that will be performed shortly after the deadline. It is not first come first serve.
