GIRLIES


IT'S FINALLY TIME for a special time of year. Over the course of 2023, the Girlygang has gathered from Hoenn, a triumph of feminine friendship. Times like these, the girls are faced with the end of the year, one they can enjoy with each other.[break][break]

What better way to enjoy the Girlygang, but with a end of the year party! A fun little vacation where the girls can all enjoy spending time together, free of any and all distractions. With the idea out there... GLAMPING becomes the activity of choice.


GLAMPING


On the outskirts east of Mauville, within Route 118's forest sits a little trail that leads to a wonderous open field. has found and booked the venue for three days and nights of fun. A message sent out to the group chat, and an address given, the girls are to bring their own goods; snacks, drinks, electronics. Whatever they want to bring, they can, within reason. Changes of winter clothes, makeup, and any accessories they want, but the message inviting them recommends packing light![break][break]

What is Glamping? Glamping is short for glamorous camping, a modern luxury added into the common camping experience. This venue in particular coming with a stylish yurt with real mattresses, a beautiful view of the open Hoenn sky, lights aplenty to keep their spot lit up, lots of pillows, and some massage tables to lay on, among other general amenities.[break][break]

Come enjoy a ride on the glamorous side of camping. No Boys Allowed. You're invited![break][break]

» New Years Fireworks! What a great spot for them too, near Mauville! There will be plenty to see![break][break]

» Girly Drink Night! Bring your own drinks to enjoy a little fun together. What happens Glamping, stays Glamping.[break][break]

It's the morning of. The big day. After an extensive amount of prep, lots of packing, a few loving texts sent out, and one loving one telling a certain someone she'd be gone for New Years with the girlies, Genny was off in a cute set of boots, and a black top, heading outside of her Lilycove apartment.[break][break]

Going with her today, was a quintet of Pokemon. Rembrandt, the Rampardos snorted with the knapsack he had at the ready, the dino ready to help deliver Genny to her destination. However, in her pocket say Blue the Mudkip, the little cowardly mudfish, Gordo the shiny green Sandshrew, happy as a ball can be to go meet friends, and one of her newest arrivals courtesy of , Speedy the Shellos. The little beanie baby blinked one eye at a time, drooling and thinking of nothing... added to them, was a sleeping balled Zagreus the Arcanine. A Fire-Type to keep the girlies warm over the party.[break][break]

"Alright. Remy-" she moved aboard, happy to take a ride on the big dino who snorted happily. "-yip yip!"[break][break]

The sounds of hefty footsteps alerted all of the wilds from Lilycove, Fortress, and east of Mauville of the massive dinosaur's run...[break][break]

Genny arrives, first one to get here. The venue is just as beautiful as all of the pictures. Perfect picturesque sky, amazing landscape, a beautiful villa. Immediately, as she lets Rembrandt go to snooze, she begins to text all of the girlies in the group chat.[break][break]

Gen: Just arrived, girlies! I'll see you when you get here!

Before long, she's already digging into her knapsack. A couple of holiday gifts. Some rosé wine for them to enjoy, sweet and gotten from Galar to enjoy, with a bunch of wine glasses prepared for them, as per Genny's request. Adding to that, she lifts another of her more impulsive purchases, a stereo to play music for them while she waits... and why?[break][break]

Because Genny begins doing stretches on a soft carpet and mat provided by the venue. It was morning! She wasn't skipping out on her morning stretches, no way. Even if she wasn't indulging too much stretching today, she could at least get a light routine going here! Especially if they ate a lot this trip. She wasn't putting on any calories. So help her, she was going to look her best.[break][break]

She had a big reason to now.[break][break]

Joining her, Gordo the Sandshrew pops out of his little ball, and begins stretching. The sight adorable. Gordo took to Genny so fast, and the two were inseparable now...

This was... Beyond exciting, Yuina couldn't wait, it had been hard to wait knowing that it had been still so far away, but as the days got closer... It was so exciting! A whole camping weekend planned just for her and her friends that she had made... Yuina had done her fair share of tearing up over the idea, and hoped that she could keep it together over the weekend. Her emotional response to knowing that she had such a close group of friends that actively sought out tiem shared...[break]
If she thought about it too much it was going to break her again.[break][break]
The morning came, and Yuina was ready, making sure that her bags were packed and she had everything that she needed. In the chilly, crisp cold morning, Yuina stood outside with Ayashi, situating her bags across his broad back, knowing that it would be quite the trip out into the woods, but it would be well worth it, nothing could change how excited she was about this.[break][break]
Having made it out into the wilds of Route 118, Yuina was delighted when she received a ping on her device, Genny had already made it to the venue she'd found, and she urged Ayashi to go faster as the deer bounded through the trees. Without much more delay, the camping grounds were in sight, and as Yuina came through the trees sat astride the Wyrdeer's shoulders, she couldn't believe how wonderful the whole thing looked![break][break]
The tent was spectacular, and so big! And there was a big table set out with so many cushions and pillows atop a blanket, strings of lights and other ammenities.. It was so wonderful... And there among the grasses, just as she had said, Genny was already there and already enjoying the serene setting.[break][break]
"Genny! This is incredible, this is really all for us all weekend," Yuina remarked, beaming as she motioned Ayashi forward into the campgrounds and dismounting from the deer. She moved towards Genny, eager to say hello, and welcoming for a hug if her dear friend so pleased.

Desiree had not been glamping in ages, for life had endlessly picked up in both kind and insolent ways since the last time. It was a beautiful feeling being able to release everything and go into the forest, regardless of the timing; her phone was blowing up due to her album release the day prior. Nothing the silence option couldn't fix, even if most of it was her pr team sending words of encouragement, congratulations, and monetary gains. As it was quite chilly in the air, she arrived in the backseat of an uber lux rather than on the back of her Tropius.[break][break]

Closing the door and tipping the driver effervescently, the whimsical excitement crept in as she released her fungi, giving them each one of her rolling bags to tug behind them. "Here!💕" She responded in the group chat, serving as a warning for the erratic trudging that would arrive quicker than she and her Stufful. Erratically trudging through the grass with the bags, the glowing caps of the Shiinotic were accompanied by their giggles and chimes, each throwing the bags of the popstar into the tent and running to greet and with hugging sprout arms.[break][break]

"Bonjour~ ♡ This is all so wonderful, I love it~!" She exclaimed, pushing through the giddy shrooms to greet the two with hugs of an elated, plantless nature. "I brought a bunch of blankets, some homemade treats, and.. like eight bottles? Rainbow tequila~ ♡" Hopefully some of them weren't shattered due to the fairy species' carefree nature.

When her fellow ranger friend had planned a camping getaway just for the girls to relax, the royal ambassador was very excited to go. Though had texted her earlier about her safety out in the campsite, she had told him that she would be fine and that her personal guard and beloved unfortunately wasn’t able to come due to the camping arrangement being girls only. Riding on her Absol to Route 118’s forest from Mauville’s outskirts, the saddled dark type runs through the trees with Quick Attack as a testament to the Absol’s speed with or without the Absolite being used.[break][break]

And Elise is able to find the campsite itself in the middle of the open field that Genny had put up for the group of other ladies to partake in. Sayori stops herself in front of the camp in order for the ambassador clad in a dark blue coat over her cozy brown dress to take a glimpse of how everything was set up from the pillows, the massage tables, and a view of the open sky for the new years fireworks to light up the sky.[break][break]

Of course, she comes prepared with a variety of homemade Johtonian and Galarian snacks from home that she made herself, a bottle of champagne, and her own smartphone to take pictures of the sky's view and send them to her elder cousin, and her beloved, . Dismounting from her Absol and releasing her Lurantis, Mismagius, and Mimikyu outside of their Dusk Balls, Elise gives a greeting to , and . “I’m here now, it’s so very nice to not think on the stresses of my job as royal ambassador to Galar.”[break][break]

Her Mismagius, Lurantis, and Mimikyu greet the other Pokemon that were out by their trainers while Elise takes out the bottle of champagne first from the bag before presenting her homemade snacks to the group. “I’d thought you ladies will need champagne if you need more alcohol and I brought along my homemade snacks created from home too..” A smile came from the female royal since she followed the recipes both of her grandmothers from her mother and father’s sides taught her with.

The Hoennian lifestyle can be hectic. Sometimes you need to save the world from otherworldly threats, or try to survive in the middle of a bloody faction conflict. Some other times you just wanna hang out with the boys--or in this case, the girls!

One by one the girlies arrived at the campsite (or glampsite), either by way of uber or via Pokémon transportation. For Andrea, the best type of mount was a dragon, therefore it should have come as no surprise when the young PokéManiac descended from the clouds riding an impressive Salamence.

“Hi, sorry to keep you waiting!” The eccentric trainer hollered. She was holding her treasured Fuecoco in her arms, while wearing a matching onesie. Upon landing, she dismounted her Salamence and retrieved a picnic basket from the dragon’s back. “I brought sandwich ingredients, paper plates, and some sake.”

Wine, tequila, champagne, and now sake. The girlies were getting hammered later tonight!

“For those who don’t know, this is my son, Jalapeño. He’s not a girl, but he wants to hang out too.” Andrea introduced her reptilian child, holding him up in front of everyone as if he were the future king of the pridelands. The baby croc simply blinked his beady eyes.

That one outlier aside, the rest of her party were all certified girlies; a majestic Kommo-o with golden and pink scales, an Alolan Exeggutor that usually tended to her garden, a friend-shaped Blissey, and a hulking Coalossal whose rugged body radiated warmth.

“Meet Kokoro, Lola, Jovie, and Ashley!” The flamboyant cosplayer said, only to be gently nudged by her Salamence, who did not appreciate being left out of the introductions. “Oh, and of course this is Sora!” The girl added, petting the azure dragoness.

[break][break] She couldn't read his expression, but then again, she could never quite read it. When she bobbed her head in agreement, he was silent for a moment in a way that made her apprehensive.

[break][break] 'Hope you have an enjoyable time, Miss Mari. By the way, would you be able to drop this off on your way?'

[break][break] It had startled her, because she'd thought she'd completed all the ticketed items. Where had this report come from? But Mari hadn't had time to think about it. She just smiled her simple, demure smile and nodded at him before scurrying to pack up her things.

It had delayed her by an hour. She had texted the girls to let them know, but she was still mortified. After all, outside of and , she didn't know any of them. She'd just been invited out of association, because her friends had found out that she was in Hoenn.

By the time she finishes her last bit of paperwork, she's almost late.[break][break]

Her life for the past few months has been nothing but routine. Work, eat, sleep, repeat. A contest performance on the weekends every now and then. When was the last time she had made time for anything interpersonal?[break][break]

It's a little sad, but she's become so accustomed to spending her days in the office that she had forgotten she had had plans at all. The notion of having friends is almost foreign. So when she closes her laptop and notices the time, Luka blanches and tears out of her office so fast that it startles several of the rangers on the way out of Lilycove's ranger base.[break][break]

She hadn't meant to make a dramatic arrival, but her Spectrier is the fastest ride she has. And so she arrives at the campsite in a flurry of ghostly hooves and fluttering manes, windswept and more than a little flustered.[break][break]

"Hi, sorry! I'm not too late, am I?"[break][break]

Her smile is shy and apologetic, and her cheeks are pink with embarrassment. Spectrier whinnies and flicks their petal-pink tail as Luka clumsily dismounts, still a little dizzy from having ridden so fast.[break][break]

Looking around at the gathered women, she's glad to see that she recognizes more than just . in particular gets a bright smile and happy wave, and is always a welcome sight. She vaguely remembers from the summer, though the rest are unfamiliar...but that's not a bad thing. This is about making new friends, right? Heaven knows she needs it.[break][break]

She steps towards the group, admiring the setup while shifting her bag on her shoulder. Her Togepi, strapped to her back in a baby carrier, coos softly. "Um...I come bearing gifts! I have drinks and snacks and...w-well, um, I hope that's okay!"[break][break]

One by one, the girls begin to arrive. First, , and with a big smile upon her lips, she could not only greet one of her besties, but Ayashi too. With a quick waltz over, the hug is returned, with a grin. "Thank you for coming, Yuina! I know, right? Just a nice little rentable location. I get to flaunt some of that Ranger status!" she flexes with an arm, and shortly after brushes Ayashi's furry chest.[break][break]

On cue, came next, and with another hug, the short redhead felt her cheeks heat up as she did! "Alola, Desi! Um... merci beaucoup?" she gives the greeting from her own home, with a little French too, though uncertain of if its used properly. When she does mention the treats, and the rainbow tequila, Genny can only imagine what the girlies will get up to![break][break]

Soon after, the Galarian Ambassador herself arrives in , who arrives soon after with champagne of her own, and homemade snacks! "Glad you could make it, Elise! Don't worry, we're gonna use this as a full vacay! All relaxation!" Genny wasn't going to let her own sadness after the whole Dewford attack cloud her own judgment! This was a vacay-day![break][break]

But you know... that's an unreasonably large amount of alcohol...[break][break]

Soon after too, comes in with the cutest Fuecoco outfit, arriving on a Salamence with sandwich ingredients AND sake! At the rate they were going, their first night together was gonna be a drinks, drinks, drinks! Of course, seeing Jalapeño the Fuecoco, the beautiful little croc he was, Genny's eyes light up, and zoom back up to Andrea. "You're totally on time! Thanks for coming! And you too of course, Jalapeño, welcome as an honorary girlie," she can't help it, she's smiling ear-to-ear with this little fire croc. And of course, meeting all of the other Pokemon only makes it better![break][break]

OH! Right, ! Genny's grinning. She hadn't really had much chance to even speak to her, but she was invited all the same! "You're not late at all! Most of our invitees are almost here for Girlygang Weekend!" she moves over to Mari, a hand outstretched. No matter what, Marilee was one of the girls all the same! And soon after, is entering the scene on a Spectrier! Majestic! Genny waves almost right after shaking Mari's hand, so long as they shake with her! And... more drinks.[break][break]

Oh god, she's going to have to explain to why she's hungover, isn't she?[break][break]

Now that everyone was here though, that meant... all the invitees had arrived! Time to be a good hostess with the mostest.[break][break]

"Alright, let's kick it," with a bit of a skip to her step, and tap with her butt to the stereo, it turns on, as she spins on her heel, and faces all of her girlies. All of them looked lovely for just the occasion. So, time to gives the girls what they want! "-so we have this spot for a couple days! We're going to enjoy the New Year! I've booked us some masseuses later on in the day, and we have an excellent view of the fireworks nearby in Mauville!" And that was just the tip of the iceberg.[break][break]

Seeing as they had brought so much already for food, snacks, and drinks, she had to! "It's so wonderful to see everyone bringing their own slice of the glamp trip! And if you didn't, that's okay! This weekend excursion is for us to all relax, and let those struggles melt away!" she's smiling ear-to-ear, hands now behind her back, as she can't help but be excited. "By time we leave, I hope our friendships deepen even more! The tent back here should be able to house all of us for the nights! Big enough too!"[break][break]

Was there anything she was missing? Her Pokemon all seemed to just relax nearby, playing, and with that, all Genny can do is relax her shoulders.[break][break]

"Sooooooo, what does everyone want to start with?" she puts out for the girls, wondering what they should do first. They could start opening those drinks. Dance to the music. Have some alone time with friends, break-off a little... whatever they wanted! Heck, Genny could try to cook!
